I am out here in Missouri, close to Kansas City visiting my elderly parents and watching the eclipse. We started the morning with thunderstorms, but the sky cleared out in time for the show! Totality! The other bright light is the planet, Venus. This is 1 minute before totality. Crescent shadows beneath the trees. We were on the southern end of totality, so the southern sky was fairly bright. The street lights and little solar-powered landscape lighting did turn on. Right before and right after totality we saw these crazy, wriggly shadows on the driveway. They are called "Shadow bands ". Over all, it was a truly amazing experience. I saw solar prominences and the corona shooting out into space. Pictures could never do it justice.

"Oh, in another world Yeah, you can wear a dress.."

That bit of info would have certainly helped after 10 minutes of messing with those tags.

Had a good time this morning DJ-ing the Sunday Breakfast until someone thought it was cool to mock my beliefs and writing. So much for fellowship! Note to self, nihilist are people who don't realize they are already dead.

It's not just Fox's Indie Spectrum station that is affected, but my station too, KONA Stream. In the over 10 years our station has been in SL we too have sent out thousands of radio tuners with floating text. Sadly in our case we bought the script and we cannot modify it. Let's not forget the hundreds of products out there that are now broken. Some of the creators are no longer in SL. This feels like a kick in the teeth to the media producers and consumers in SL.
