Hi had a logo come up Rebaking Region what is this - is this a new thing?? everything is grey whilst this is happening something always happening on here in sl - one just logs off eventually - annoying - can someone explain - what is the purpose of this many thanks

Hi, can someone help - everytime i log into SL the above comes up - having to go into Preferences to adjust settings constantly which is getting on my nerves ie Shaders, Draw Distance etc., - has only happened since the last SL download/ update. Not the best when it comes to the technicalities of computers so any basic help would be appreciated. Thanks
