    1. Disclosure

      Residents are entitled to a reasonable level of privacy with regard to their Second Life experience. Sharing personal information about your fellow Residents without their consent -- including gender, religion, age, marital status, race, sexual preference, alternate account names, and real-world location beyond what is provided by them in their Resident profile -- is not allowed. Remotely monitoring conversations in Second Life, posting conversation logs, or sharing conversation logs without the participants' consent are all prohibited.

      We hope you'll have a richly rewarding experience, filled with creativity, self expression and fun.

      The goals of the Community Standards are simple: treat each other with respect and without harassment, adhere to local standards as indicated by simulator ratings, and refrain from any hate activity which slurs a real-world individual or real-world community. Behavioral Guidelines - The 'Big Six'

      Within Second Life, we want to support Residents in shaping their specific experiences and making their own choices.

      The Community Standards sets out six behaviors, the 'Big Six', that will result in suspension or, with repeated violations, expulsion from the Second Life Community.

      All Second Life Community Standards apply to all areas of Second Life, the Second Life Forums, and the Second Life Website.

      1. Intolerance

        Combating intolerance is a cornerstone of Second Life's Community Standards. Actions that marginalize, belittle, or defame individuals or groups inhibit the satisfying exchange of ideas and diminish the Second Life community as a whole. The use of derogatory or demeaning language or images in reference to another Resident's race, ethnicity, gender, religion, or sexual orientation is never allowed in Second Life.

      2. Harassment

        Given the myriad capabilities of Second Life, harassment can take many forms. Communicating or behaving in a manner which is offensively coarse, intimidating or threatening, constitutes unwelcome sexual advances or requests for sexual favors, or is otherwise likely to cause annoyance or alarm is Harassment.

      3. Assault

        Most areas in Second Life are identified as Safe. Assault in Second Life means: shooting, pushing, or shoving another Resident in a Safe Area (see Global Standards below); creating or using scripted objects which singularly or persistently target another Resident in a manner which prevents their enjoyment of Second Life.

      4. Disclosure

        Residents are entitled to a reasonable level of privacy with regard to their Second Life experience.       5. Adult Regions, Groups, and Listings

        Second Life is an adult community, but "Adult" content, activity and communication are not permitted on the Second Life "mainland." Such material is permitted on private regions, or on the Adult Continent, Zindra. In either case, any Adult content, activity, or communication, that falls under our Adult Maturity Definition must be on regions designated as "Adult," and will be filtered from non-verified accounts. Other regions may be designated as either "Moderate" or "General." For more information on how to designate land, events, groups, and classified listings, please carefully read the "Maturity Definitions."

      6. Disturbing the Peace

        Every Resident has a right to live their Second Life. Disrupting scheduled events, repeated transmission of undesired advertising content, the use of repetitive sounds, following or self-spawning items, or other objects that intentionally slow server performance or inhibit another Resident's ability to enjoy Second Life are examples of Disturbing the Peace.

      Policies and Policing

       

      Global Standards, Local Ratings

      All areas of Second Life, including the www.secondlife.com website and the Second Life Forums, adhere to the same Community Standards. Regions within Second Life are noted as Safe or Unsafe and should be designated by the SL account holder as either "Adult," "Moderate" or "General." Resident behavior within each region must conform to the respective local rating.

      Warning, Suspension, Banishment

      Second Life is a complex society, and it can take some time for new Residents to gain a full understanding of local customs and mores. Generally, violations of the Community Standards will first result in a Warning, followed by Suspension and eventual Banishment from Second Life. In-World Representatives, called Liaisons, may occasionally address disciplinary problems with a temporary removal from Second Life.

      Global Attacks

      Objects, scripts, or actions which broadly interfere with or disrupt the Second Life community, the Second Life servers or other systems related to Second Life will not be tolerated in any form. We will hold you responsible for any actions you take, or that are taken by objects or scripts that belong to you. Sandboxes are available for testing objects and scripts that have components that may be unmanageable or whose behavior you may not be able to predict. If you chose to use a script that substantially disrupts the operation of Second Life, disciplinary actions will result in a minimum two-week suspension, the possible loss of in-world inventory, and a review of your account for probable expulsion from Second Life.

      Alternate Accounts

      While Residents may choose to play Second Life with more than one account, specifically or consistently using an alternate account to harass other Residents or violate the Community Standards is not acceptable. Alternate accounts are generally treated as separate from a Resident's principal account, but misuse of alternate accounts can and will result in disciplinary action on the principal account.

      Buyer Beware

      Linden Lab does not exercise editorial control over the content of Second Life, and will make no specific efforts to review the textures, objects, sounds or other content created within Second Life. Additionally, Linden Lab does not certify or endorse the operation of in-world games, vending machines, or retail locations; refunds must be requested from the owners of these objects.

      Reporting Abuse

      Residents should report violations of the Community Standards using the Abuse Reporter tool located under the Help menu in the in-world tool bar. We review these abuse reports, and the identity of the reporter is kept strictly confidential.

    We are more interested in litigation of people that defame our groups residents and clubs If Secondlife wont get invoved theres no protection of your investments . There are TOS and Code of conducts thats are going on ,That need to be addressed on a daily basis . Are residents groups and investors deserve more than Secondlife is offering or currently doing .

    We would set up a abrition board in Estate as well as a AR review panel . Secondlife and Linden Labs need to address the very basics of TOS and Codes of Conduct in World and those being shared out of world via Social media and Websites and Blogs.  Example posting in world residents chats on Blogs . Facebook twitter etc. .

    Post that encourgae others to break TOS and to defame groups via Social Media , Blogs , Etc. Out of World .

    If the magnuim is a mesh server they should all be put in the same area no dotted all over the grid that only causes problems I un fact dont know f thats the case But yes there doted all over the grid and dont seem to have a pattern at all ,
    if this is in fact true they should start the Grid Incorperation as a seperate area I think , Annoucing it and letting people know that that infact is a new mesh area As far as I know and I could be wrong , No mesh servers are in the main grid yet Thats why ive posted here , To Get answers as per LL theres no reply ,

    Thanks were talking About Sailing here not walking or tping Vehicle performance at all time low . We can't hold a race or leave a Simi , If you don't Sail or fly a plane You probably don't notice it , This is real thread These things are happening if you can't sail out one Simi or  you can just make it to next then crash , Id say That's bad Performance these are in proven Sailing Vessels , Some designed just for low lag Sims crossings and there getting thrown around like toys Debarking frame rate its all Low , To say its improving well That's just not true at all , As one Marketing executive said were out of bandwidth  what that say to you , There improving ?????

    For the last month Secondlife as a whole has been by far the worst performing platform on the Internet

    Im part of a large Sailing Community , In Secondlife, We used to enjoy Sailing cruises and locally sponsored races by the many Yacht clubs and Sailing Groups, Keywords here will be Used To enjoy ,

    Recently before his departing Secondlife Blondin and Mike linden Worked on Keeping SL Sailing waters

    Some what Clear and Sailable . They were instrumental in connecting Mainland areas with new Sims ,,Opening new oceans. Adding great content , If the leaving of blondin is any sign of things to come Im afraid Secondlife is overlooking  The loss of many Sailors and tier revenue , The map my friends is getting yellowed as I write this , 

    Sl Sailing has helped many in Real world Examples of this are our efforts ever year for Breast Cancer awareness Via our Sail for life events ever summer raising donations with sailing events and auction and charity races This to is now subject to The loss of Sailors and the horrific conditions in Secondlife when centering on Vehicle performance,

    This isn't just little bump in the road There is a major issue Going on at Secondlife . Build all the viewers you want which seems to be the only thing there worried about . Fact is if the platforn your building for does not work any longer why do it at all ,

    Where the great Gaming Ceo promises of grid performances number one priority ?I haven't seen anything since he's come on board other than the loss of residents loss of service loss of community outreach Loss of ability to leave a single Simi , In the real world Im in charge of a America's Cup team's Logistics and Media and New social Media outlets,

    This week we were to film a Video for a Major television network . We had to cancel it . We have tried to contact press offices and marketing regarding this . There answer to Us ,. There under staffed and busy well get back to you ,

    Or keep us informed ,Im also charged with the task of bringing The Americas Cup to Secondlife . A huge RL Sporting event . Secondlife seems to be completely Unaware of the worldwide audience this would bring to them , After two years of planning and a great cost to us , This seems to be a great risk now , 

    We can not bring a major event into a unsuitable platform like Secondlife has become , With no answers coming from the front office , Or the same old were working on it , Im sorry to say Secondlife is on the downhill plunge , 

    New Residents flat across the board . This has nothing to do with the Global economies Its poor management Failure to Invest in The current infrastructure and poor Future outlooks that involve the Current and future residents , 

     

    This is our last plea for Secondlife to wake up . For Community groups to raise up and state enough enough ,

    Even though I thought we have a voice any longer with the leaving of first Jack Linden And now Blondin linden , 

    We'll Give it a week for Secondlife to respond to this and any replies . Then We go initial and international with Our many Media Outlets afforded Us , Starting In San Francisco All the way to Asia . .

    Pease leave your past Sl experiences here, as well as your present , I propose a New In world Forum to be held in the coming weeks anyone with ideas or any LL department heads would be interested please post a answer here or contact me directly , This not only effects Sailors in Sl but all vehicle performances as well simplest of things like TPing ..

    Sim performance at a all time low today with recent resets can someone from all Explain why to can't sail more than one sim . I believe the complete lack of attention to this and the new pin ball wizard of a CEO should be made aware That this this is happening on a regular basics , This is not ea Sports this is Secondlife . A craters and builders and vechile recreation simulation . I am going to recommend When Sims are so dysfunction that all sailing players leave the game . The only way to get action is by action . It seems , Secondly is onlooker addressing grievers ether leaving it a wide world open to the recent Youth they dumped into the grid , Ra reports are Joke, I recommend if performance isn't taken seriously lets Just empty the grids . When they see there numbers falling then maybe but not likely will they address problems ,
