You have to change the theme but I hear if you do you can never go back to the white. :smileysurprised: 1) Pick a theme and hit save. 2) To bring your image back pick your image and hit save. 3) Say goodbye to white for ever. 4) Pick different ones for different effects.

I agree with Suella creativity is very important. When I signed up I wanted the name "Reporter" but it seems it is taken. So I thought about it for a little while and I came up with "LiveReport" which I have grown to love more then my first choice.

If they had I would be following their instructions to the letter. Second: The telephone operator suggested that if I was having problems with logging into the website to use an alt. Third: The Second Life website suggest that if you are having a problems to use the forums. I am doing that although it is in a Dramatic fashion, sorry if you don't get all the jokes, maybe you should read more. Forth: My own research is making me think that the phone operator my had been ill advised to suggest an alt so I am refraining from posting as much as possible. Fifth: Think about it! I mean really really think about it. Right now someone from LL is reading everything, I mean everything I ever type into the interface. IMs, local chat, Email to Viewer communications, EVERTHING!!! GDN interrupts your normally scheduled derailment with this Special Report LiveReport: Hello Dwellers I am out here live at the Lagville Detention Facility where a small group of protesters have gathered to object to the hold that has been put on Keli K's avatar. Many others are also here to object to Ms. K's actions and to show support for the course of action the Lab has taken. But what actions have been taken and has Due Process been followed in this case? Here is where we stand: LiveReport: 13 days ago an Avatar was created that used iinden as the last name spelled with a capital “i”. LiveReport: 7 days ago Ms. K's account was put on Administrative hold we are assuming for the use of the last name iinden. LiveReport: We can only assume because over the last 7 days the Lab has sent out no official communication of any kind to this user. She has not been told she is banned. She has not been told she is suspended she has been told of any charges held against her at all. But any computer Ms. K ever used to access any part of Second Life is denied access to the In-World features of SL no matter who the true owner is. All this is happening without any communications from the Lab. Her avatars are not able to log in to the support pages to file a ticket. It does not give her any reason like banned account, or on hold, it just won't let her. Concerned where all this was going she filed a guest ticket and followed it up with a phone call on Wednesday. Phone support told her “Oh it is nothing to worry about your account is just on Administrative Hold, it happens all the time, if you are having problems logging into the website you should try a alt.” Considering the circumstances around this Hold Keli thought it wise to ask some questions. “Does it say I am banned? Does it say anything at all in there?” The person on the phone told her “No all it says is it is on Hold. It is probably nothing to worry about and it should clear it self up in a few days.” LiveReport: How would you feel it your entire SLife was taken away and no one sent an email to say goodbye. No reason, no way to appeal, no case number, no nothing? LiveReport: I know how to find out how Keli feels, let's ask her: LiveReport: Keli you have been following this weekend's events how do you feel about all of this? Keli K: I have read everything everyone has written, both good and bad, I am a humbled by it all. The fact that I have supporters just overwhelms me. (wipes her eye) LiveReport: Are you okay? Keli K: It's okay I just has little something in my eye, that is all. You know Live maybe people are right, maybe I should have known better, I just wasn't thinking. Just about two weeks ago they took the forums down for a hour to fix something and when they came back up everyone with one word (witch I think should be spelled “oneword” so not to confuse anyone), ...with one word names could post. It was awesome it looked like so much fun! I got the green check mark on that name and just kind of jumped right in without think about it very much. Later as I thought about what I had done on impulse I started putting the disclaimers and corrections in the profile... I still hope I have supporters after they see how silly and impulsive I can be. Checking out how low the balance is on the credit card I use for SL and I see this notice... LiveReport: ...and... Keli K: ...“As a card member you are invited to buy prerelease tickets to Katy Perry before sales open to the public.” It said the day I could buy them was last night! So I checked the balance, which was low because I am not spending in SL, and I bought us tickets! LiveReport: Us? You and me? OMG!!!!!!!!!!! (Jumping up and down singing) LiveReport: We're going to Katy Perry, we're going to Katy Perry! Keli K: We're going to Katy Perry, we're going to Katy Perry! CameraMan: Cough, cough cough! LiveReport: Sorry about that I just got a little excited. (getting more serious) LiveReport: So how do you feel about being held without the opportunity to be informed of the charges against you? Keli K: I think that is the one thing that has me on edge, the not knowing. But I am trying to understand. This is a complicated matter, usernames and display names and all that. This whole thing might require some rewriting of TOS and some reprogramming to iron it all out. I hope they did not just throw me on the back burner somewhere and forget about me. As the Administrative Hold continues on Keli K I was able to sit down for a one on one interview to answer some of the days pressing questions. LiveReport: So Keli how was your first night back in the Big House and what happens from here. Keli K: Well Live I did a lot of thinking about how childish I was about the whole thing and I deeply regret my mistake. I just hope the Lindens can find it in their heart to forgive me and one day take me off hold. They have my ticket I'll just have to sit it out and wait my turn in line and see what happens. LiveReport: The New CEO came to town yesterday what do you think about his arrival? Keli K: I hope he enjoys his time here I am happy to see that he is spending time in world. I wonder if he realizes I was the first to welcome him on the first announcement. I hate to be the first to leave now that he is here. LiveReport: Any thoughts on "Women in Second Life?" Keli K: I think women in SL need to be strong independent thinkers or they will just get washed away with the tide. It is so easy to change things in SL it is sometimes hard to stand up for who you are, for example: I remember the first time a guy said "here put this shape on for me" or the one I love is "Man your avi is almost perfect if you would just adjust your boobs a little." After thinking about it for a minute I said No this is who I am, this is who I want to be. Take it or leave it. This is who I am. LiveReport: What is your favorite SL hair? Keli K: I would have to say the one I am wearing. This is what my RL hair looked like when I started SL. I really enjoy bringing little bits of me into SL, not all of me of coarse just the parts of my choosing. LiveReport: Snarrky Comments? Keli K: The Cornfield seems like such a nice place after all this. LiveReport: What do you think about Taking 'the Other" to lunch? Keli K: Before SL I don't think I ever tried very hard to take "the Other" to lunch but Second Life has changed that for me. I have meet people from all over the world here with totally different views then I have but something about Second Life makes me feel safe about going to lunch with them. LiveReport: Do you have a favorite funny person on the forums? Keli K: I think everyone is my favorite, I mean the group as a whole. All these different personalities from all over the world trying to communicate their different points of have made for some very funny moments. Some intentional and not so intentional but funny all the same. I think seeing all the different personalities all in one place is what makes the forum so enjoyable to me. LiveReport: Where did you shop more? In-World or the Marketplace? Keli K: I had just started to enjoy shopping In-World when all this happen. Being new to Second Life and wanting to see everything I would shop On-Line at work and have the stuff delivered so that when I got home and logged in I could quickly rez and go out and see the world.
