I know, but that's regular maintenance. I'd like to prevent the problem from occurring (without having to stop adding people to my contactlist).

Whenever you add someone to your friendslist, you automatically start following their feed. And the only way to stop it is to manually unfollow new friends regularly. How can I disable this annoying feature? it's possible to block people from following me, it should be just as easy to block myself from following others.

Not only should it be visible, there should be a filter in the left bar to select the before and after dates. So you can say "I want to see all item released between march 2017 and june 2019"

It would depend on what the penalty in the agreement was and who the agreement was with. If the penalty was a fine that could still be an issue. If the penalty was getting banned from that gacha event in the future, not really a problem. If the penalty is getting banned from all events ran by that person/organisation it might be problematic. Also, there's the question what happens to the other party. If it's a group and that gets disbanded all agreements end. If they go on to do other things, it might still be valid. Something for the lawyers.

But not all of those hundreds of gacha's sets will be equally profitable. Most sales will come from a relatively small number of sets. So you just convert those and then you wait to see what other sets the customers request and work through those as well. Maybe release a couple each week.

To all who debate the reason why LL decided to ban gacha's. It does not matter. Whether they prayed for divine guidance, used an AI or an Ouija board, had lots of meetings with their legal and/or PR team, tossed a coin or went on a weeklong drug and booze bender: it does not matter. As long as their rules don't break laws regarding illegal discrimination, consumer protection and such there is little they can't put in the rules for their world. They made their decision and if you read between the lines, there is nothing we can do that will change their mind. To all who think they can work around the ban somehow. Again reading between the lines makes it clear what LL wants to accomplish here. They only want gacha-style vendors gone. Period. They don't want the ban to affect other things such as games, subscription boxes or breedables. They just want gacha vendors gone. Now I tend to love playing devil's advocate and find and exploit all those fun loopholes but in this case it's totally counter-productive. No matter what we think of, it's going to take much less time and effort to add extra rules to ban then it will take us to make a loophole exploiting new script. And there is generally a section in the TOS that can be used to bring the hammer done on someone who really starts to annoy them. So focus your time and energy on something more useful: how are you going to support the creators you claim to value so much.

With Kinder Surprise it's assumed they're bought for the candy and the toy is just a little random extra. The SL equivalent would be something like buy an outfit, get a random colored handbag with it. Also since these are generally bought by parents for very young children addiction isn't really an issue.

LL can afford to ignore Russian laws. The amount of customers they have in Russia is probably relatively small and what those customers spend relatively insignificant. The EU is one of the largest (and more importantly) richest collection of (potential) customers. LL can't afford to lose those. I'm not sure if LL ever published demographics of SL users but in my personal experience it something like 40% Europe, 40% North America, 20% rest of the world.
