With IE everythings works (except that I don't like IE that much, but that's a different story). I had the same issue when trying to login in to secondlife.com, but only when I was using Firefox. Fortunately, I was able to log into the support page of SL and file a support ticket. I received a reply this morning to that support ticked that said the problem might be something with Firefox and I need to troubleshoot with Firefox. I went into Moxilla Support by pressing the "Help" button at the trip of my screen, and here is what I found that fixed the problem, and I am now able to log into secondlife.com using Firefox. Try following the steps below and see if it clears up the problem for you: Try clearing Firefox's cookies and cache Do these steps and then reload the website you're having trouble with. 1. At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button, go over to the History menu and select Clear Recent History.... 2. In the Time Range to clear: drop-down, select Everything. 3. Click the arrow next to Details to display the list of items that can be cleared. 4. Select both Cookies and Cache. 5. Click Clear Now.
  2. Come worship the Lord with us tonight at 7 pm SLT at THE VINE CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP church. Following music and prayer, Pastor Grace Cuthbertsson will present the sermon “Why Are We Here?” in both voice and text (text available in front 2 rows only). Bring your Bible and a friend, and feel free to come early to pray at the altar before service starts. Facilities are wheelchair friendly. http://slurl.com/secondlife/Miliaco/144/78/78
  3. Thank you very much. It was exactly what I was looking for! Have a great day, Grace
  4. I am wondering where I would find current SL statistics for: Total Users Users within the last 30 or 60 days Total Regions Users Online or in-world* *I do see this statistic of how many users are online when I am logging into the grid, but does LL post the other stats? I am also active in OS Grid and InWordlz, and it would be nice to compare the stats of all three worlds. Thanks.
  5. Does "derender" only make invisble an object on my screen? Or is does it actually make the object invisible within SL so that it is no longer seen by any other avatars on their screens? Thanks
  6. Has anyone else been experiencing extremely slow delivery of items from Marketplace tonight? I have purchased several items, and I have to log out of SL and then log back in to receive each item. The last item that was in my cart still has not been delivered and I have relogged twice. I'm wondering if it's just me, or if it is an SL-wide thing. thanks.
  7. Thanks so much for your comments, everyone. They have helped me realize that it might not be such a simple task after all to change the name of a group. If any of you ever hear of such a thing in the future, please let me know! Have a great week!
  8. Does anyone know why LL does not allow a group to change its name? Just like a company in RL might undergo a reorganization, so might a group in SL which makes the former name not as applicable to what the group is now about. The present solution is to create a new group with a new name, but then you have to go to the trouble of inviting all members of your old group to join the new one and then eject everyone out of the old one in order to close it. To me, it would be much simpler to allow a group owner to change the name of a group. Does anyone know if that is even possible in SL? Or is it a matter of that's the way LL prefers to operate groups? I would even be willing to pay the $L100 it costs to form a new group to be able to change the name of an old one.
  9. I have been able to create an object and put shared media into using SL v2 but I cannot do the same in Phoenix, nor is the shared media that I just created in v2 viewable when I log into SL using Phoenix. Is shared media only for SL viewers and not third party viewers? Thanks, Grace
  10. I already have purchased the AOs but I can't seem to get them to work using Viewer 2. Do I need a HUD if using V2?
  11. I've been using Phoenix, and learning Firestorm, but I thought I'd give Viewer 2 at least a chance. One thing I can't seem to figure out with Viewer 2 is how to works AOs. In Phoenix and Firestorm, it was pretty simple. I can't even find anything about AOs in the SL Wiki (I've probably missed it). Can anyone help? Thanks!
