A good friend first introduced me to SL as she knew I had just quit smoking and was "climbing the walls" looking for something to do that would grab my attention and keep me focussed for a while. Well it definitely did that! I was completely new to online 'games' apart from scrabble :smileyhappy: so I didn't even know how to walk. I ended up swapping one addiction for another.

I don't really have a favourite place but prefer "open air" venues as they feel less claustrophobic. I don't have a favourite musician inworld either...so far. What about you?

I think if my 'friends' were to leave SL suddenly and unexpectedly, without letting me know, then I would have to assume, after a certain period of time, that they wouldn't want any further communication unless of course they had passed away. All my closest friends have my email and Facebook details......yes that might sound foolish but I trust my intuition.....so we can keep in touch if ever one or other of us have a problem with SL. Having said that I think the friend reaching service could be a good idea.
