The life and history of Port Harbor and the role it plays in Steelhead: Parts of the forest city show evidence of an old industrial town, piers and heavy machinery overtaken by wildlife. The scars of the land under the forest tells a tale of Late 19th century gaslamp fantasy forest surrounding Puget Sound inlet. After the industrial explosion that took out the whole port the wildlife began to regrow quickly, massive forests slowly reclaiming what was once a busy industrial port. At the apex of the industrial era in Steelhead grew the industrial Port Harbor. With industrial revolution came the shipment of illegal goods and shanghai of unsuspecting drunkards and dangerous wares unchecked by an overloaded government and the bribery of the Harbormaster. One fateful day a fire started in one of the industrial buildings which spread to the dangerous payloads on freighter and cargo ships. In one of the biggest industrial accidents in Steelhead's history the whole industrial district and piers caught on fire and destroyed Port Harbor. After the fires were put out there was next to nothing left of the old Port Harbor. After a few months the forest began to reclaim the remains of the old city until there was nothing left of what was once an industrial boomtown and a dense forest remained. Port Harbor is an ambient forest rebuilt in elvish style flourishes while maintaining the growing forest. Elvish homes, tree homes, hobbit homes and noveau homes accepted. All out of theme homes or skyboxes must be elevated above 1024 meters. For any questions regarding regulation of theme please contact TotalLunar Eclipse or Tensai Hilra.

The community thrived and they called the land 'Little Shanghai' which was later changed to just Shanghai when Steelhead officially claimed the lands. Being close to the industrial pier of Port Harbor and the many illegal traders and pirates several 'gang houses' banded together to profit in the illegal trading markets. An ever present fog rolls under the streets over the water, junk boats and garbage litter the bay as a few merchants with heavily loaded small boats push their way through the water. Many entered and told of strange tales from the deep moorlands within the forest. Too many years the ancient forest remained undisturbed, free of humans, urbanization and settlement. The Moors forest is unnaturally filled with strange happenings, hints of old magic as the forest seems to be alive calling in the unsuspecting to its dark depths. Fae, elves and all those touched by magics were drawn to the Moors and negotiations were made to finally include the strange lands into Steelhead as Nevermoor named after the murder of crows that nest high up in the trees and in honor of Edgar Allen Poe along with the checkerboard grounds and curiousity that could only come from Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland. 23. Welcome to Steelhead Shanghai... After the railroads were built to accomodate the growing trading the oriental railroad workers were given a small unwanted region of land where they created a community and made use of the land that had been stripped of its natural resources where no plants and harvest would grow, the south mountain slope over mined and had caved creating unsightly 'tiers' in the rock face. Still the community thrived and they called the land 'Little Shanghai' which was later changed to just Shanghai as the community began to grow.
