  1. Are there any games that You usually play online? I'd be up for that.
  2. Oh Lord...that really was something stupid, I'm ashamed now haha You were right Kwakkelde, it was about including weight in third tab...now I finally can give it a try in making mode. Thank you so very much!
  3. So many wise people around and seems like nobody has a clue what is possibly the reason for this q_q That's killing me q_q
  4. Hey there! I've decided to get back to making models and finally doing something productive, so I've decided to go for clothes again. But I'm having an issue while wearing rigged mesh that I upload. So the thing is - I've got blender 2.64, boneweightcopy script, I'm doing everything as I used to few months ago, but...rigging doesn't work anymore. Even if in mesh uploading window it shows up as rigged propely, once trying to wear it it's just attached to hand like normal prim and doesn't rig where it's meant to be, and I can freely move it around like non rigged object. Any idea if there's solution to that? I've tried different setups in blender 2.64 collada settings, but this thing sadly doesn't work. I've tried to upload mesh that I made while ago and rigging worked properly - as I still have that blender file - but it didn't work again. I will be really thankful if anybody could give me a tip on that. Here's the picture: Regards, Martin
  5. Ohai! I've been trying downgrading to catalyst 12.8, but it was just the same effect for me. I've noticed that it happens not just with sunlight, but any source of light (eg lamps, while standing in range of their light) makes same grapical glitch, everything "touched" by that light seems burned out. Yeah Johh Connor would be definitely proud I am using Firestorm 4.2.2, 29837 build, ultra graphics. I've been changing settings to high, medium, even low, but it seems to be problem generally with sources of light, not just astmospheric shaders. It's kinda shame, as I'm enjoing view of pixel sun and clouds somehow. I'm just geek I guess. Thanks for taking your time and replying, seems like I'm not the only one suffeering from bugzards D:
  6. Hi there! I am writing, because I'm having an awful issue with atmospheric shaders. Every time while I have it ticked, my while my avatar or any other object is facing position where sun actually is, everything seems to be burned out with too high contrast. It's just abnormal and I really dislike what it looks like. I'm posting screenshot so everybody can see what I'm talking about. Once I'm facing other direction, everything seems normal. I'm running Ati HD7750 with catalsy 12.11 beta drivers. Downgrading drivers didn't change anything at all for me. Any ideas how to solve it? I will be really thankful and appreciate any ideas to try out! :)
  7. I had the same issue while I was trying to apply armature modifier before exporting collada. Running on blender 2.63
  8. So...I booted my PC today, put some Rick Astley - Never Gonna Give You Up as background and finally solved it in blender 2.63. Or actually more like 'solved", because weights calculated with Bone Weight Copy seems to not work properly with my model, and every time I'm trying to paint weights to my own it doesn't work anymore. I guess that's another thing to figure out.
  9. Hello everyone! I've been digging through threats for the whole day and trying different solutions to fix my problem, but sadly it seems to be same some poeple get and still no fixes work for me. I'm pretty much newbie into modeling, started recently, and trying to get through all that and upload my first mesh...which doesn't work at all. I got "avatar workbench" for blender 2.63, and followed steps in video serie on youtube about rigging and uploading meshes. As long as my mesh seems to be working perfectly with bones in blender, uploading is an awful miser..I've been trying to fix it like for 10 hours, I'm about to throw my pc out through window. I'm really hoping to get some answers in here ;_; So first of all I fixed bones to make them 26, got thorough all the steps in tutorials, got the the part where I upload mesh, changed joints count to 26 in .dae file, and went to uploading..and here's the problem. I can't set phycis quality to high, because while trying to calculate weight and fee I'm getting an error: "Multiple errors while validating asset. NewAgentInventory_InvalidAsset. When I change quality to medium I can actually upload it, but sadly it's not rigged. When I move to another tab, where it makes my mesh go bonkers and look like after nuke explosion. So i tick "include skin weight" and "Include joints position" or just one or two or actually different combination and it turns into some random piece of doodoo.I'm terrified. I thought it's something wrong with my model, tried uploading something else and it was broken into bazilion pieces or kept giving me errors. I thought modeling takes lots of practice, but it's pointess in the end if I won't be able to upload rigged mesh ;_; I've tried applying rotation and scale, even "makes duplicates real" thing since there's no "make real" button in new blender, but nothing helps..it always seems to end in the same way. When I'm trying to apply Armature modifier before uploading mesh it doesn't allow me to upload it at all..it doesn't even show up in preview window and while clicking on "calculate weight and fee" button it says that object doesn't contain meshes. I tried different viewers, 5934895083405 combinations, remodeling plenty times, removing empties, renaming bones again, adjusting weight paint and I don't know what Ive missed.. Is there something to do with these bones/joints to make it work, except for putting that fixed line into .dae file? Here's picture what I'm getting when trying to tick weight and joints before upload ;_; http://desmond.imageshack.us/Himg4/scaled.php?server=4&filename=jointsproblem1.png&res=landing ^ That was supposed to be underwear and as I said - looked otay in blender and moved along with limbs, but after uploading it's just attached somewhere to ankle..and seems to be exploding during uploading. I'll be really thankful if someone can actually hlep me solving this..it's so irritating. Even more, because I actually loved modeling for some reason, and Ic an't get through uploading :[
  10. Personally, I noticed that while making avatar the pretty much basic thing that decides how avatar looks is skin. Shape is secondary. Of course, shape changes overall look as it's shape ofc, and can make you look creepy if You go too fancy with it, but personally I'm recommending experimenting with shape on your own so you can save few lindens for skin you like. That's my conclusion.
  11. Hey EmberX (: Maybe it just takes some time to find places that suit your interests, and evenentually where You can make friends. Sadly friendly people aren't everywhere.
