  1. Hi, I am looking for somebody to create a textured med/ high LOD mesh railway signal bridge/ gantry complete with lights. The lights themselves do not need to be scripted but preferably separate objects that can be linked. Examples of what I am after can be provided, otherwise similar can be located in world at various points along the SLRR. More than happy to pay a reasonable amount to have the custom item made.
  2. Hi, My partner has accidentally clicked a key combination whilst editing an object and is now missing the RGB colored rotational bands/ compass in edit mode. Holding CTRL whilst in edit mode does not work either. The grey sphere is also missing. Any ideas how he can bring it back?

Hi, Could someone please point me in the direction of some wall textures that would be suitable for a games arcade or bowling alley, I'm thinking maybe tiled dark panelling with strips/ splashes of color mixed in. A 3D mesh patterned wall with or without animated texture effects would also suffice. Thanks
  4. I am looking for someone to design me a basic logo for my parcel/ venue inworld. What I would like is a 1:1 version (for adboards etc.), a 4:3 (for use in land settings and group logo image, the ratio may be different so feel free to correct me!) and possibly a banner, so ideally a copy for all purposes 😁 Please contact me inworld for further details.

  6. Hi, Could someone please direct me to a set of windlights that are good for creating bright, airy and summery outdoor scenes, preferably ones with shadows when advanced lighting mode is enabled. I've tried a few windlights included in the viewer (both official & Firestorm) but my pics often seem to turn out a little dull when using them. What I want is a handful of good base WLs to take pics before doing some basic enhancements in an editing program (not PS, I'm not that skilled!) Any help and advice is much appreciated 😊

  9. Hi, I'm looking for a BoM tattoo I think was released around last September or October, made for a male body. I remember it being quite colorful having various doodles and drawings covering the entire body, and on the face was a drawing of a little ghost. Across the top of the chest it read CH-OR-IPAN, which I'm hoping will help in my long quest to find it. Any ideas where this tattoo is from? Thanks 😊

  11. Hi, I am looking for a full perm inverted (no outer walls) mesh cube that's hollow inside, preferably 5 or 6 sided. The physics shape/ collision must not apply to the interior space. I've thoroughly searched the Marketplace and found nothing so far. Happy for someone to make me one for a small fee, or otherwise offer advice on how to create one myself. Thanks

  16. Thanks for the quick reply Nalates. Since posting here the problem has become worse (2-5% packet loss everywhere I go) so I have raised a ticket with Linden. I ran another MTR to Neumoegen and once again it appears to be XOs network at fault.
  17. Over the last few days I've been experiencing 0.5-1% persistant packet loss on 1/3 of all regions visited, everywhere else is 0%. When I run WinMTR I can see the loss is occuring at one node in particular (hop 14) as seen below. ο»Ώ All UDP traffic appears to be routed through this IP address so it's odd that the packet loss is not present in all regions. I asked a friend to check the same regions and he's seeing 0% loss. Also seeing quite a few brief latency spikes on XO nodes. I've tried resetting/ rebooting my router and disabling HTTP pipelining in the viewer with no result. What could be causing this, network congestion or malfunction?
  18. Whirly, I can see this issue was raised back in March and appears to have persisted through to the latest client release, Second Life 3.7.20 (296094). I can confirm that this has not been a problem up until very recently as I could easily cam across to terrain on the opposite side of the region with a single click, or even the region adjacent.
  19. Hi, I've just noticed it is no longer possible to use Alt Gr + L click to center the camera on any piece of land that is further away that the draw distance setting. For example if the draw distance is set at 64m, I can't move and center the camera on land which is outside that radius - nothing happens when I click and sometimes the cursor jumps across the screen. However, this doesn't seem to be an issue when using Alt Gr to lock the camera onto prim/mesh objects, only land itself. Has anyone else noticed this and is there a way to override how far you can cam on land, without increasing draw distance?
  20. I'm seeing similar problems with textures remaining grey for extended periods of time or failing to load altogether. This relates to environment and avatar textures mostly but the world map also seems to be affected. It all started to go downhill from Sunday evening and persisted through to this morning.
  21. Since all these changes were made I am seeing grey absolutely everywhere, texture loading is extremely SLOW!!! This is with the latest official viewer which includes the new HTTP pipelining. The same also applies to world map textures, they aren't loading at all so I'm assuming these are delivered over HTTP also. I've had to turn off HTTP textures and revert back to good old fashioned UDP which seems a lot more reliable for me at the moment. Is anyone else having a similar experience or is it just me?
  22. I need someone to create a custom texture for an item of clothing. The mesh base I have is full perm and includes shadow maps, UV etc, so I have everything required for creation.
