I have been playing with blender for some time for my sculpted needs but there is still quiet abit I do not understand about it.... it tyou can have more then one object showing at a time to see how well they work together... if I'm rigth (which i think I am er...) I wanted to try and import the avatar mesh into it so i might beable to make a sculpty that fits around a avatar without hmm... guessing it?... does anyone know what i'm talking about? D: but anyways that is my main issue, as there is a small line of sculpties that i ahve wanted to get right but i just cant shape them right for the life of me without a ton of trail and error that i rther not waste valuable building time on... I know what you are talking about. You need to download the avatar mesh from the download page of SL. Over here Then you need to go into Blender and export the files. Go in Files/Export/wavefront (obj.). Notice that the avatar mesh is pretty small . I recommend to press the S-key and scale it up 5 times bigger. Simply hit S-key and type 5 to size it up. Thats all... All the best and happy scultping Corina
  2. I can assure you upfront there will be many Suggestions coming up on this Topic with all the Pro´s and Cons. We had this Topic i guess probably 20 times if not more in the old Xstreet forum. Anyway..to give you my Suggestion for making sculpties i´d recomend to use Blender. First of all its a free Program and with the Scripts from Domino Marama and the new JASS Application i think you are set for the basics. As for Textureing in Blender i think you need a little time to figure out how this works. Like any Sculptie Program you need to invest Time to learn. There is absolute no Program that spits out a Sculpties the way you want it within Seconds. Some Programs have a tough learning curve and are packed with tons of Stuff and Buttons you dont need to create Sculpties. For more Information how to create Sculpties in Blender check this Link out http://blog.machinimatrix.org/ Also join Blender User groups in world if that interests you
  3. If i understand your Question right, you want to delete Items in your Favourite List. I dont have any favourite Items right now to test it but i heard , once you clicked the delete Button, the Browser is refreshing to update. But i heard there is a bug and you need to refresh it a second time to have it removed. Like i said. I cant test it but you might want to try a double refresh. Hope that helps Cori
