    @Nayevia, I know some of them are for the whole body, but I suggest you to take a look and try just to be sure.

       The reason I wrote what I did was mostly to mock the concept of 'feminists' being a singular entity; the original bare face challenge was meant to make the point that no one should tell women how they should look (I'm still wondering who does that, honestly). But when people then, just like in this thread, begin whinging about piercings or eyelashes, the whole thing just feels like one big contradiction; "Don't look like they want you to, you should look the way I want you to!". 

       Many women use make-up not for others (i.e. 'men'), but because they themselves want to; it's just one of those things our species have been doing since prehistoric times. Whilst I personally don't use make-up in RL (except the occasional black nailpolish), my avis do, both the male and the female one - that's not to attract others, it's because I like that aesthetic. Most of my friends are genuine goths though, and they get furious when people try to tell them they wear too much make-up or too many piercings; it's just none of their darned business, it's their choice, and the whole idea with the punk movement (which the goth subculture sprung out of) was to give the middle finger to mainstream fashion, to allow the individual to be and express themselves in whichever way they want. 

       So yes, I get a little bit mad when what was intended to be a 'fun challenge', which I have no issue participating in, turns into a judge-fest of whether people can or can't have eyelashes, brows or piercings. 

    I'm going to remember that next time I start another topic! :D

    All kidding aside, I really appreciate the discussing all of you are bringing and also thank you for addressing the reason why this challenge was originally created.

    Redelivery - Maitreya

    Olá, @Sarita Runo! Tudo bem? Espero que tenha conseguido de alguma forma solucionar sua questão.


    A postagem é bem antiga, mas irei responder mesmo assim para caso alguém se encontre na mesma situação.

    Para conseguir uma atualização para o seu corpo Maitreya, é necessário realizar o seguinte passo a passo:

    1- Ir até a loja no Second Life;

    2 - Clicar na placa de redelivery terminal que se encontra no balcão da loja:

    3- Aparecerá esta mensagem em pop-up para você. Clique no link para abrir a página de redelivery. Dependendo de como estiver a configuração do seu viewer, ela será aberta no navegador interno do Second Life ou externo (Chrome, Firefox, etc.):

    4 - Ao acessar o link para a página, clique na opção Maitreya Mesh Body - Lara (destacado em amarelo):

    5 - Após clicar na opção mencionada, volte ao Second Life e verá que um arquivo foi enviado a você:

    6 - Vá até seu inventário, abra a pasta Objetos/Objects, clique com o botão direito sobre o item Maitreya Mesh Body - Lara e selecione a opção *adicionar/add:

    *Para retirar o item posteriormente, clique duas vezes sobre ele com o botão esquerdo do seu mouse ou com o botão direito, selecionando a opção detach from yourself/tirar.

    7 - Fazendo isso, automaticamente o item será aberto e você receberá a nova versão do corpo Maitreya:

    Como pode notar, a versão mais atual é a V5.1.

    Oi, Cláudia! Tudo bem? Espero que sim.

    Caso ainda não tenha solucionado a questão, você precisará comprar um kit do sistema Omega para poder aplicar ao seu corpo Maitreya.

    Você consegue encontrá-lo no Marketplace ou na loja dentro do jogo. Recomendo que compre diretamente na loja, pois o preço é menor do que no Marketplace. Se tiver alguma dúvida sobre como configurar e aplicar o sistema Omega ao corpo, recomendo que assista a esse vídeo muito informativo.

Really, the Maitreya "triangle butt" drives me the most insane! I feel like people even accentuate the odd shape by scrunching their hip length up and pulling the butt out so it ends up being super pointed. A big butt should resemble an apple and not a carrot. I respect Maitreya as a brand and wore that body happily for years, but I could never go back until those issues are fixed. Once you see it you can't unsee it.

    I don't know what happened to your butt, but mine is pretty much roundy. And yes, I took a look at it to make sure. 😂

    Guys, come on. The post was just meant to be fun and chill, not a place to supervise who is wearing what or to be proud of "breaking the rules".

    And as I already said on the first post, "If the enhancer is a part of your 'genetics', it is allowed". So, if your skin comes with lashes and all, don't worry about it and no need to explain why. If you want to keep some enhancers that you believe to be really important for your identity, then keep it too.

    Just post and be happy, ok? :)

    P.S.: Edited the first post to include that info and be more clear about it. I'm really sorry if it wasn't before.

    I found the "no lashes" bit pretty irritating, perhaps I should have used one of Izzie's fixes to hide the drawn on lower lid lashes.

    Hi, @Avalyn Valeska! How are you doing? Hope everything is ok.

    To use Bakes on Mesh with the Genus bento head, you need to take off the head's alpha, go to the "Setting Universal" hud > Cosmetics > and give a check on the "bakes on mesh" box. When it turns blue, the system is activated:

    Hi, guys! Hope everyone is safe.

    I don't know when or why it was created, but saw it all around Flickr again and decided to share with you.

    As you can see, this challenge consists basically in showing your avatar bare face without any *enhancers (no lashes - the ones that come with the skin can be kept; no makeup; no editing; no jewellery).

    You can tag as many people as you please and challenge them on Flickr or, just like me, join it for pure and simple fun.

    *If the enhancer is a part of your "genetics" (your skin) or you want to keep some enhancers that you believe to be really important for your identity, it is allowed.

    I challenge all of you, guys! ❤

    I feel the same thing. Lara is definitely my favorite body, but I wish @Onyx LeShelle (Maitreya) can give it an update with more realistic features (specially in the tummy and breasts regions) or launch a new body. I would totally go for it since I have never had any kind of problems with Lara.
