Thank you Fleth. I do now have 2 SL icons on my desktop, and the old/wrong one pinned to my taskbar.

I installed the newest viewer (3.2.4) a few days ago, and everytime I log in it still notifies me there's a new version ready (same version number). When I try to re-install SL correctly tells me I've already got the latest version.

Personally, as an "early adopter" I want to see mesh succeed. I've tried a mesh tee and two pairs of mesh pants, and, along with the corresponding alpha layers, the've fit with very minimal changes to my avi. However, based on this thread and others, mesh is pretty much DOA for clothing until LL implements shape sliders. As for people not wanting to use mesh because so many are reluctant to move to viewer 3, every program has minimum requirements, and as the program evolves, those requirements change, either adapt or die. If you "can't afford to upgrade", eventually your computer will become obsolete. Ask for a 2nd hand video card for Christmas if nothing else. I would've killed LL V1 a long time ago, leaving TPV to pick up the slack if they wanted.

Thank you Flip. It does appear to be just the one sim (Morris). I tried others and seem to be able to move fine without crashing. Makes me wonder how other people are there though.

This must have something to do with today's server update because I've been using the same viewer/computer setup for almost 2 weeks now with no problems. I am using Viewer 2 (2.8.1.237758) on a PC with Win7 (32bit) and NVIDIA 210 graphics card. Today, when I logged inworld I get the following error msg "The OpenGL driver lost connection with the display driver and is unable to continue. The application must close." I have tried updating video driver, turning graphics detail down to low, and using Firestorm viewer and nothing has worked.

Also, it appears that, once a venue gets over 40 people in it, it drops off (too "Hot"??).

I just downloaded V2.8.1 and noticed all the new Destination Guide type info on the login screen, including "What's Hot Now"., showing the places with the most occupants currently on SL. Do venues have to sign up to be on this list? I ask because, my favorite spot, wasn't on the list and had twice as many occupants as some that were on it.

Awhile back I tried to install Viewer 2.7.1 and it crashed during install (after initializing the Texture Cache). I posted my crash log in the appropriate JIRA (STORM-1298). Later the JIRA had been closed and marked as resolved. I then tried loading 2.7.2 beta and have been using it with no problems. However, when I tried to load the final version of 2.7.2, it crashed again during install (same place). I re-opened the JIRA and posted a new crash log, but haven't had a response. Is there anything else I can/should do?

Yesterday I tried to install V2.7.2 of the viewer and it crashed during install. 2.7.1 does the same and there was an open JIRA (SNOW-1298). According to the JIRA this was supposed to be resolved. I've been running 2.7.2 beta with no problems and now it crashes again on the final release, c'mon LL :(

Same problem. 2.7.1 won't load. Reverted back to 2.6.9 and all seems well. Curiously I had my preferences set to auto download and yet it didn't. I changed to manual for the future.

Right click on the address bar and select Show Co-ordinantes.
