Hello, Since the most recent transaction fee change, I've been buying Lindens in 4,000L$ blocks. Up until around March of this year this would cost, on average, $17USD (plus or minus a few cents). Since March, the cost has gone up steadily until, when I made a purchase today, it was $18.16USD. Just wondering has their been that big a change in the SL economy because of the pandemic??

Glad to know I'm not the only one. I found the solution. It's not resolution after all, but UI size. Go to Me>Preferences>Advanced and check it, it should be around 1.00. Move the slider and click OK until things start to look normal (assuming you're able to see the OK button at the bottom of the dialog box). Mine was set to 1.5 by default, so 50% to high.

Hi, I just upgraded to LL viewer 6.2.0.525891 today and now SL is displaying with the wrong resolution (menus and such take up way more space on-screen than they should). I looked on the Graphics tab in Preferences and I don't see a way to adjust it. You used to be able to reset it to default. Please help. Edit: I found the reset button after moving my Windows taskbar, but I still don't see a way to change the resolution

Today, whenever I've tried to open a resident's profile I get the following error: Loading error! ERR_CONNECTION_RESET Code: -101 Never seen this before. Usually if the server is having issues it will just show a blank profile (ie just name, picture, and rezz date). Hopefully this can get fixed soon

I received the following msg when I logged in toody: media_plugin_cef has failed, please reinstall or contact vendor (??)..what is this and what can I not do without it?

So, for the last two days, literally no one on my friends list was showing as online inworld. This shouldn't happen so I looked on my dashboard on the SL website and, sure enough, a few of my friends were indeed logged in. I IM'd a couple to verify they were there and, as soon as they answered, I got a notification inworld as if they had just logged on. Also, friends who logged in after me were displayed correctly in my friends list. Any ideas/suggestions about why this is happening would be appreciated

It's not just a glitch because it's still happening. I went to several regions and no luck. Going to repost on the viewer forum.

I've been using the 64-bit version (code name Alex Ivy) for awhile now. I must say I haven't been thrilled because I seem to be crashing more, not less, since the switch. Anyway, today I installed the newest update (5.1.0.510354 ) and after downloading I get "Err 22 Invalid Argument" when it attempts to launch. Help. Thanks.

$L transactions started failing inworld and now I can't log back in.

I just downloaded the newest viewer update and noticed the ability to selectively render avatars based on ARC has been taken out. Also, ARC itself has gone back to Draw Weight in the Advanced menu. Is this feature going to be reintroduced at some point?

That wasn't there when this thread was started. Also something is wrong with their clock because it's not even 12:17 PST yet.

Same here with the LL viewer. I can see some of my friends online on my Dashboard though. Must be having issues with the authorizaion server.

Avatars specifically flagged as Always Render Fully need to be logged so they are saved from session to session or if the avatar crashes and relogs similar to how blocked avatars/objects are handled now.

Since updating to the newest LL viewer, I've started seeing nolink> in my friends' online/offline notifications. For example, "nolink>[username] is Online" I'm thinking a piece of code was left dangling somewhere, or isthis supposed to have a function?

Lately I've been noticing that some people (including friends) aren't showing as Nearby in my People dialog box unil I am right on top of them and yet, once they do appear, they stay until they are out of range. What can be causing this as it is very fustrating. :(

I can't login. It crashes at "region handshake". My connection is fine and there's nothing in status reports. I was just on about an hour ago too.

of course *facepalm*..scripts were disabled...oh well I needed a new AO

I logged in today and suddenly my AOs won't work anymore. I put my mouse pointer over it and, instead of changing to a hand icon like it's supposed to, it remains an arrow. When I click on buttons (on/off etc.) nothing happens. I tried logging off and back on and replacing my AO, but even the new one doesn't work. I must have triggered something by accident that disabled them but I have no idea what. Please help!
