That is exactly what I need, but I´d need the script so I can implement that feature in my product. Anyone have a clue how this was made?

Actually, this time it was more like me not knowing what I was talking about, see I did not realize the weight paints are done bone-specific. So naturally when I had the head bone selected ofcourse the gown did not show any weights (just blue). All the weights were naturally done on the torso and the leg bones. So everything is fine at that departement. I am sorry for jumping into conclutions.

It can also be under logs, especially if you have several avatar accounts. And it is not named archetype, but your avatar username. C:\Users\<your name>\AppData\Roaming\SecondLife\logs In this tutorial (too bad it´s potato) Gaia Clary shows where the Load Shape button is. I have blended 2.69 and this issue still persists. I try to import someone else's dae/obj and the weighting is lost upon this process. Which is kinda the why I bought the other maker's template, to learn how he/she has done the weighing.

My Region is rebaking button is not going anywhere... that is really annoying! I want to get rid of the button alltogether. I cannot even press it, because it´s grayed out. sheesh
