One thing that comes to mind is that doors often have to be made of a cut in half prim so that the opening and closing can be done as a rotation around the middle of the prim which is the hinge edge. If you dont use a cut in half prim the script may well make the door go haywire. Any script of this sort should come with some kind of user guide that describes how to construct the door to work with the script, often text atthe beginning of the script. Locking door scripts are as old as the hills.

I perfsonally find the Firestorm AO unreliable. When I start walking no animation plays and i just slide. I use ZHAO 2 which is free and has been around for years. https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/ZHAO-II/1593159?. It isn't drag and drop but is pretty easy to set up. and I find it more reliable.

Tips for recovering lost inventory item If an item mysteriously disappears from your inventory, use the the procedures below to locate it. Click the Inventory button on the toolbar and select the RECENT tab. Items returned since last log off will be stored here. Clear the Second Life Viewer's cache. Search for the item by entering its name in the Filter Inventory field of the INVENTORY window. Search the Lost And Found folder. Search the Trash folder. Search folders listed at the top of the INVENTORY window. Your filter settings may be hiding some of your invneotry items. To reset them, click the Gear icon at the bottom left of the INVENTORY window and chooseReset Filters.

You could put them on the marketplace.

I guess that is depth of field you have enabled. Preferences/Graphics/depth of Field and then uncheck the option to enable depth of field.

To get best use of PS4 or Xbox360 type pads you really need (well I found) a third party utility to take the input from the control and convert it to what the viewer likes to get as input. I use Xpadder on my Windows 8.1. Didn't try it on windows 10. With Xpadder you can map your X,Y and Z movement and also use any buttons to do other stuff like go into and out of Flycam mode or do anything else you can do with shortcuts in SL, which can be handy. Sort by most recent is a handy inventory feature for looking for old things (and new things). Don't know if it is in the linden viewer but it is in Firestorm.

That file has something to do with the new media kit which as far as I know is still in beta or as the lab call it a project viewer. I think it may have also been released by some of the third party viewers. A reported problem was fixed (opening too many copies). Maybe this tells you enough to fix the problem. You can use anything in ViewerName\skins\default\textures\icons. you can't use custom icons because the icon is loaded from the local file system. I you use a custom icon you will be the only person who can see it.

Did you try pasting in chunks, like maybe split it into 4 and paste them in? Did you try going to another sim, maybe server lag.

I'm with Harrison on this one. Spend time in world not in the marketplace, poke around the freebie shops, poke around the clubs and see who is wearing what. Practice your chat up lines on shop assistant bots. Did you update to the Jan 2016 build. If so did you do a clean Install. If not update to the Jan 2016 build and do a clean install. The folder is called UKanDo.

Preferences/Chat/Chat Windows. You don't say what it is that you want to look the same as the SL viewer but you can change the Chat Tab Mode Oritenation to Horizontal here as well as other things.

There was DUI (http://www.firestormviewer.org/the-real-joke-dui-is-no-joke/in) 2014 but no news on it since then. Maybe because screen sizes have increased it isn't so much of an issue for people now.

I think that the problem that some people had was that they didn't have a Windows 10 compatible upgrade for their graphics card. You shouldn't have a problem with a new machine.
