most text viewers wont let you use inventory, though, another thing, as soon as you log in, do character test, so at least if you crash maybe it is when you complete that or in the middle of doing it, luckily your attachement would have disapear when your avatar starts doing the character test

A very good free hud, i use in photos, it is called Anypose and you can find it in marketplace by that name or LOGO mesh head

I only notice this when I use a wrist blender with some mesh hands, if I use the hand alone, no flicking, but only when I attach hands, not my own hand, maybe an alpha you are wearing with sleaves or something might cause that

I have used Colorpic http://www.iconico.com/download.aspx?app=ColorPic&type=free for about anything that I need skin colour for, I usually put a good windlight setting with no shadows, like Nam and then pick the colour nearest to where you want to match, Colorpic is really easy to use, depending on the skin, there are also RGB availables in the web already done for you

Most huds would work if they are good makes, I prefer huds where you can input an RGB, and most good creators will have those huds
