I used to do Lunches with the ladies at work and until this man from another department decides to join us... Couldn't stand him at all. A gentleman shouldn't nag and wail like a first trimester hormonal mother.. during lunch.. complaining about his work... at lunch! Now, I'm just a lady who posts in the forums, at lunch.. Willow wouldn't something like this help?
  2. Rhonda Huntress wrote: When? Where? and yes! What to wear, what to ware, what to were .... ((BTW, "Yes" is my favorite word)) Rhonda @Dee (See page two) she has set up a User Group to organize lunch.

  4. Treasure Ballinger wrote: OMG I'm *SUCH* an outsider.......(it's ok, no worries, I'm good like that!) The thought of belonging to such a club horrifies me, lol, too much of a loner........(not that i was invited, hahahaha) See that is why we should do afternoon coffee. That way you get caught up on what happened at lunch and I get some caffeine to make it though the rest of the day and you don't have to worry about big groups.
  5. But, but, but... I think you are missing how much fun ranks can be. Like next week I hope to earn the Leprechaun. :smileyvery-happy:

Pull up your big girl panties don a dress, wig and some makeup. I'm sure they will let you join them. It was more 'Carpe Diem'. No disrespect intended Raul. Well you guys could always start the Boys who do Brunch tread. Edit: After searching google about that title... um... maybe not. :smileysurprised:
  7. What rule? There is a rule to this tread. Oh look a bird is flying by... I wonder what I should have for dinner? Maybe it was more like an instruction...

    inventory

If you got this stuff from the Market Place it is in a box. So it will be in your inventory under the heading "Objects." Look in that folder and open the boxes and you should find what you bought.

  10. Cato Badger wrote: @Keli: You said 'iced tea'. If that's Long Island Iced Tea then count me in. Sure it is easy to find places that make them so they look just like regular ice tea. (Just in case the boss happens to go to the same place for lunch.)

  13. valerie Inshan wrote: Lunch? Where? What? When?!!! YAY! I love to lunch! I'm in Keli! Funny this topic was discussed at a dinner party just last night. It was decided that anywhere that serves a good Caesar Salad and has Ice Tea will work.

  16. DQ Darwin wrote: Hi Keli I actually have started that group a little while ago inworld. I send you an invite the agenda is the similar... ________________________________ It looks like that makes you the acting President of the Club. YAY Dee!
  17. Venus Petrov wrote: Hi Keli! Can I be a privileged member? Ohhh ..can I? Can I, phuleeeeze? Of coarse you can Venus. Since you understand so much about how Ranks should be used you get to pick everyones' rank.

  19. Ishtara wrote: Wikipedia wrote: Ladies who lunch is a phrase to describe slim, well-off, old-money, well-dressed women who meet for lunch socially, normally during the working week. Typically, the women involved are married and non-working. Normally the lunch is in a restaurant, perhaps in a department store during shopping. Sometimes there is the pretext of raising money for charity. Thanks, but I'm not sure if I'd fit in there :smileyvery-happy: This is rather something for Scylla and Nat Just kidding. It sure is a funny idea though. FIFY
  20. Mags Indigo wrote: I'll pass ta- I tend not to 'do' lunch. :smileyhappy: Oh come on Mags. You don't have to eat you could just sit with us and have a glass of wine.
  21. Ishtara wrote: Keli Kyrie wrote: Oh Ishtara you are taking all the fun out of it. This is Second Life and we can make LWL mean what ever we want. Yes, of course I already took some freedoms when I nominated Scylla and Nat as members (although I'm not entirely sure where ). Maybe we should call it SLadies who Lunch and decide ( or just make up) our own membership requirements. :smileyvery-happy:

  23. The Ladies who Lunch Club is a group that gets together several time a week for fun and mayhem. Most members are (or have been) forum dwellers at some point. If you are interested in what we do read some of this thread or check out the group Inworld. Cinnamon M. described the LWL as: "...lively, slightly naughty, semicivilized, polite, but unsubdued..." – August 25, 2011 That is an edited OP. This is what it originally said: I have heard some talk about a Ladies who Lunch Club and now that the main objector no longer makes a appearance in these forums I thought maybe now would be a good to start the club. The thought of us getting together over salad and ice tea making some people upset is just to tempting to me I love the sound of this club. Anyone want to join me for lunch?
