  1. Be sure to get back to the FBI and tell them it was a false alarm.
  2. It's like a secret menu item. You have to order them in code and tip the doorman. And eat them alone at least 20 miles from civilization because they smell like butt. I think it’s to hide the fact that livers are cooked in the same oil and the taste absolutely can build up and carry over since the oil is just strained occasionally and re-used until it starts to break down...as in any fast food place.
  3. това е мястото, където жителите разговарят помежду си неформално. моля свържете се с обслужването на клиентите (this is where residents talk to each other informally. please contact customer service)
  4. Contact Customer Service! This is the discussion forum.
  5. You went there, you totally went there
  6. This is the community forums, we are all just other SL users in here...you’ll need to contact Customer Support. Otherwise we will probably just start posting ponies as replies. maybe a shiba inu. possibly a penguin...
  7. Comfort food taste can be a terrible overlord. I can’t say I’m ‘better’, I like Taco Bell. 😉
  8. If it’s an item that has some good features or another selling point that I notice when I unpack my copy, I’ll often list it in the original. If the creator has information in a notecard, I often copy/paste relevant details. Sometimes the creator has pieces of a set rezzed {anc}, Pilot, few others...Nomad often has the build LI and other item LI sometimes listed on their keys. I’ve set a few of my copies of decor out in my new Gacha sales shop so people can come inworld and buy them direct or at least see them rezzed. Some of us try. But really for a L$50 MP sale that we take a 10% cut on already, many won’t bother with any of it. I have liked playing some certain Gacha for a very long time in SL...And I’m happy to flip my extra commons for pull price, or make good trades...but for me that’s still the end part of the Gacha game cycle so I guess I care about it a bit?
  9. They are instant potato flakes and powdered instant gravy mix? source: friend who worked there.
  10. First, you didn’t give a link to the store, someone has to copy/paste your name in the MP to even find your store. Never make it difficult for someone to throw money at you, use every non-spammy ethical method to invite people to buy! Second, I can’t tell if these are a flat prim with the frame also being part of the texture or photographs in a more detailed mesh frame. If they are flat, I’d much prefer no frame and be able to put them in a mesh frame. You’ve digitally signed them quite prominently and you don’t specify whether that’s just your watermark for the marketplace or if they actually come with it on the photo. I’d assume hopefully not...but I’ve assumed that before and been quite mistaken. Third, I don’t see a SLURL to go see them inworld. Even a tiny place with a few examples is A-ok for me, I just like to see an in-world sample of someone’s work, especially artwork so I can test out how it looks under my home windlight setting. The photographs/frames do not fit my decor style so I’m not your target customer, but I replied because these are three marketing issues that make me hesitate to buy no matter what is being sold.
  11. I so agree with you. I especially "like" the people who randomly IM you out of the blue with the friend request and you don't even speak the same language! LoL & oy. I don't like the too-early requests because it makes it awkward to say "no." I haven't found a good, quick way to say that. I stumble through something that sounds a bit like what you wrote above, and I'm sure they are thinking, "Dude, chill, it is just a friends request." Although on a few occasions I've had those people stop following me on a Feed or Flickr. I'm sorry (not sorry) but just because you have clicked ♥ on one of my photos, and maybe I have clicked ♥ on one of yours, doesn't make us friends! The only thing I can say that is positive about instant friends on SL is that if you think there might be a connection that you want to pursue, then you can use the friend status to learn when they are online so you can have another chat. Unless of course one deselects the box for that. I really wish there were some other ‘stay in contact’ levels we could enable all over social media platforms instead of all this ‘friending’. I find the whole thing awkward, and with some people it just stays that way because they ‘tend’ their online friends list like some kind of weird garden of accomplishment. I may or may not have had a category of people cordoned off from seeing some of my posts when I still used FB. They might have been called ‘joy sucking obligation potatoes’.
  12. From the Community Participation Guidelines: ”You may also not post regarding subjects that do not relate to Second Life except in the General forum discussion board.” emphasis mine. So this thread and the games threads are OK by the rules as far as I can see? Games threads give people who care about post count a place to bump it up without spamming the other threads so I’m guessing they are a just a handy containment, though the games are a bit funny too. People sometimes begin to bond a little (and feel people out a lot) over word games, talking about food, other small talk about non-important things. Sharing about where we like to eat is perhaps an inviting place for someone new to SL and the Community Forums to make a post, so I can see a case for it. I think maybe if there’s some kind of flood of them, it might be a problem with bumping more relevant content down or to page 2...but right now aren't a few here and there easy enough to just pass over? It would be nice to have an ‘ignore this thread’ feature in this forum though. At least one thread that started with ‘content related to SL‘ has derailed into RL politics and religion so...? One for me to pass over.
  13. Thank you very much. I haven’t ever really paid attention to LL job vacancies page and I don’t attend tpv meetings or read the recaps.
  14. How did you come by this arcane knowledge...or did the rest of us just miss a memo?
  15. Linden interference not easily summoned - ABUSE! (nothing actually happened but it *sounds* dramatic for the word game, right?)
  16. That’s why I used that example, to highlight the highly subjective part I referred to. I don’t mind the horse things as long as they feel like they match or coordinate with the style/theme. But the streets and infrastructure are clearly modern so it really could go either way, if debated. The only thing I’ve even felt like reporting since I moved to Bellisseria was the completely snowed under plot/house with full bright and a dozen active snow rezzers. And yep, I posted a pix here to see what others thought first too. And at Christmas, when the decor bug bites strongly, I’m just going ‘on vacation’ every year to the beach lots...I’ve already decided for myself. I understand that people really enjoy It, but at the same time, I’m super glad for the clearly dated limits on holiday decor. That way we are all on the same page. edit: I actually expected the funky and odd houseboat build-ups and build-outs, I’ve been around Sausalito, Alameda, Mission Creek...it’s not that unusual in these places to see it.
  17. If your search for that particular skin fails, maybe another Pumec skin in the “May” tone will also look similar. In this situation, I would probably go get free demos some of Pumec’s skins to check them out before buying any gacha skins.
