When the V3 viewer gets to the 'initialising VFS' part it freezes and I have to force shutdown. On trying to load it again it sends a crash report but freezes in the same place. :matte-motes-angry: Anyone else had this?

Why am I getting lag serious enough to crash me when I open my friends list?

I also tried basic mode after someone who was returning to sl after a six month break couldn't find their inventory. All of the top bar is missing and there is no inventory or landmarks. I think that I would have become bored very quickly if I had, had to stay looking the same as I did at the beginning. A major part of the fun for me was getting the freebie clothes and changing. I think rather than making people stay this over simplification will bore them away. Esme Capelo :-)
