Oh Hi Storm... Long time no rez :)

Oh my, Orfeu, it has been years since we last exchanged words.  CAC days!  Those days ending in such acrimony. I don't know why.    It brings me great joy to read your name once again (and a few others who have participated in this thread).  Peace to you, Orfeu, thanks for posting a wonderful and kind: Hi.

I'm sure you've seen it. Maybe you even do it. A girl avatar bringing a boy avatar to a skin store, or a sexy clothing store, or even a shopping event. With how easy it is to be unfaithful and all the things we know about how men behave in SL it seems like a recipe for heartbreak. Is it to show how much trust they have? Is it a kind of torture? Is it to find someone for a threesome? I've only been to men's stores a few times with my alt and haven't seen something like this. I'd like to know what you think.

My, my Brea (I write Brea because you wrote (to me) many years ago you like cheese); so, Brea it is), your post is fantastic and honest from a girls perspective.  You have such a beautiful avatar, and always changing.  Boys like that.  When you ask them out shopping what is your intention?  Are you open to their preference or are you just trying to seduce?  Sexy clothing? Sure!  Do you mean latex or cotton nighties? It's all subjective. Skins?  I learned a long time ago, whenever asked, if your 'rear looked too big in these jeans', to always say NO.  But thanks for asking. BTW Boys will always be boys.  Re: Cheating.  How men behave in SL is the same as how women behave in SL, no?  I think both genders have been heartbroken - it's the risk we take as humans who operate avatars - and the same is applicable in RL.  The boys I know, and men, love to take gals shopping. And to dinner and dancing, but not one that I know is 'unfaithful', were you projecting?  Rhetorical.  Boys don't want to know.  Re: Threesomes.  Most boys just want to get laid and/or find one gal who appreciates him going shopping or to events with her.

    Biden's tested negative.

And off stage attendees - only the lunatic klan fringe was maskless... so that Klan is now worried.

What worries me though, is Herr Trumpf has the best doctors in the world, will likely recover quickly, and will thus have his belief that the virus is 'fake news' reinforced... becoming further disinclined to assist us peasants...

Your hate talk is way overboard.  Any other social platform you would be banned.

So, to this end, I hope what you send around comes right back around to you aka RIP.  You should really do a soul check you pathetic creep!

None have been wiped off the face of the earth. They still exist. They will always be an issue. The best we can work towards is minimizing the spread. Containment. That is the real purpose of vaccines in addition to quarantining and social distancing. Vaccines alone aren't always enough.

Agreed.  However, we have ONE and only ONE virus we have eliminated:  Smallpox

The  others are still with us.  Including the flu and the common cold.

Which proves my point exactly in that they don't care about others or their well being just their own. Quarantining is a necessity in most cases at the moment. The issue in NYC is that your stupid governor/mayor refuses to let the city get back to normal when you now have one of the lowest infection rates in the country.

The problem was that he acted to late and consequently it had already spread everywhere. So once again quarantining isn't a tyranny, seems just your pathetic excuse of a governor or mayor is.

The problem was he acted too late and consequently over 50K dead!

The rest of what you wrote agreeing with me but not agreeing with me.  Using the same words I wrote but only understanding what you wrote. Seriously?

I am not an anti-vaxxer, but ANY vaccine the government (and Bill Gates and corporate America) mandates I take because it is good for the whole is a vaccine I will avoid like the plague itself.   The same government and corporate (pharma) who classifies weed as a class A felony (just like opium, LSD, barbituate inter alia): imprisoned thousands for smoking.  Get real.  Everyone must vaccinate except allergic people, rioters, looters, SJW's, and murderers.

    You have that wrong.

Quarantine is when you restrict the movement of sick people, true. The difference is that is now impossible in modern society.

    .....

So no, it isn't Tyranny at all and if you think it is perhaps you should go to your local dictatorship country and see what true tyranny is.

    Living in NYC is TYRANNY!

Only protesters, rioters, and murderers are free of quarantine - in the name of social justice. (Quarantine is a social issue, I'm sure you agree).

Gov. Cuomo attempted the quarantine of the somewhat healthy elderly.  How did that work out for the CITIZENS of this city?  Over 50K dead!

Go to my local dictatorship country?  FFS I'm living with this asshat!

See, you're doing it right now. STOP IT! You came out of the blue, insinuating I somehow stopped POC from speaking, as if my speaking, as a white person, somehow stopped any POC from talking about the matter. Again, I strongly ressent the accusation. You trying to twist this whole little fight, you started yourself, into me now being a racist somehow, is despicable. Find a new target.

She/he/it/they/them/her/him/nonwhite/whitey/ is notorious for such language in this forum.  And hides behind wretchedness.

And once again... I suppose if you were accused of being "Klan-ish" that you'd not take that personally and only write in the third person. Good to know.

Also, ETA: Again, since we're ALL writing from our own POV, our own experiences, our own opinions, there are necessarily going to be a lot of *I* statements. But only the approved *I* statements are allowed or the posts aren't relevant. Also good to know.

I agree with almost nothing you write.  But this^.  It took you this long to figure this out?

Hence, whilst obviously all lives matter, I don't want the truism to detract from the BLM sentiment. Much like I won't allow these riots to become defined by this (what really has been marginal) looting by a few bad apples.

Exactly, while obviously all lives matter, I, too, don't want the truism to distract from the BLM sentiment.  But, I have to allow the riots, death and destruction to be defined by a few racist cops - who are looking at life in prison for their heinous crimes?    This is accountability.  I want to same for any person who acts as these police acted.    Accountability is how we grow as a civilization.

I only hope you are as motivated to vote as you are to go to a doctor.

Yes!  Yes I am motivated.  If the U.S. loses there will be no Doctors available. It will be just like Venezuela, North Korea, Cuba, et al.

Be afraid.  That's what our Democratic Governors are saying: 'be afraid'.

Sigh. It is really sad, and greatly annoying, when a Dutch and a Canadian know more about US politics and policies than an American who allegedly votes. And this, dear friends, is how we got the Cheeto in the first place.

As a proud American citizen involved in politics at all levels of the local and Federal government, and a great appreciator of Cheetos, I think come November I'm going to get myself another 4 year supply.  Stock up so to say. . .  Yummy.

China locked down Wuhan on January 24th. The WHO declared it "a public health emergency of international concern" on the 30th. Donald Trump spent the next month golfing, holding campaign rallies and telling everyone that everything was fine, it was a Democratic hoax and cornonavirus would miraculously disappear. But China and the WHO are the bad guys. 🙄

Wrong.  China flew 10's of thousands all over the world after they locked down Wuhan.  WHO said nothing to worry about as it is contained.  You could get out of Wuhan but not in.  So wrong again.

The President was advised to not shut off China - but he did it anyway.

Insofar as WHO being the bad guys, yes.  And they will get no more of my tax money.  I respect President Trump's convictions.

.  I am afraid of someone telling me "go here", "go there", "move about" and then say to me "see, there was nothing to be scared about".

Exactly!  WHO has done just that.  Except, of course, but in China.  It's not safe anywhere but in China.  According to WHO.
