Following your logic even the external servers like Hippo, CasperVend, the Chung Estates servers where they store the rentals informations, and many other vital servers offering core SL services can fail and become useless. You also forgetting a small detail. The TMP system writes the word 'The End' to body textures copybotting (or better, it makes it useless). Thieves can't apply stolen textures on a TMP mesh body because appliers can only be packaged by approved designers. Contrarly, Omega system is accessible to everyone hence could be let's say 'theft-friendly'. I mean every resident can get the Omega kit and create an applier to apply a stolen texture they got somewhere and apply it to any Omega compatible body part. You also forgetting TMP includes many body skins as bonus in different tones with the mesh body, which they are quite good already (almost the same bodies on sale few years ago at TheBodyCo for 1500L$ each). Others don't offer them or they only include pretty bad stock skins. Stop hating what you can't afford or you don't want to pay for. Yes it's 10000 L$ (around 40 Dollars) to get a Deluxe TMP Body + a Deluxe Head and in my opinion is correctly priced. And best of all, nobody really needs them! You can live with your system head and body if you wish, or go for cheaper solutions.

Even in the scenario of networked updates you need to package the updated product and to inform the customers to collect the updated version. On the TMP portal you just need to replace a line. All done.

I tell you the difference between Omega/WhateverOmniCompatibleSystemThereWillBe, and TMP. Let's suppose you run a store in world. To keep things simple, or for whatever other personal preference, let's suppose you do not use a networked redelivery or update system. You made a product and you have set it for sale. You have sold 1 thousand of them (hopefully). Then you have realized there's a texture problem somewhere, and it's necessary to replace one of its texture UUIDs. Now, in case of OMEGA appliers, what you need to do is: Open up the applier. Fix it. Recompile the script. Repackage it. Hope your customers got your group notice or hope they will read your update on socials -IF- they subscribed, because of course contacting all them, manually picking their names from the transaction history, and offering an update one by one is out of discussion. Or simply wait they get angry and they come to complain for the bugged product and accept that a good slice of brand loyalty has gone for good. In case of TMP appliers, what you need to do is: Go on the TMP web portal. Login. Edit the wrong UUID. Save. All the customers got the updated version into their StyleMode HUD.

Non hai specificato se hai l'ordine di vendita ancora aperto (in quel caso hai probabilmente scelto un tasso di cambio che impiegherà una vita per essere evaso (i primi due della lista 247 e 248 in genere impiegano da qualche giorno fino ad una settimana per essere venduti, dipende dalla coda). Puoi cancellare il tuo ordine e provare con uno di questi tassi di cambio. Oppure, se intendi che hai il tuo ordine di L$ è già stato evaso e sei nella fase di processare (convertire in soldi veri) verso la tua Paypal, probabilmente hai un conto Paypal non verificato (nuove normative Europee), collegato a carte scadute o non verificate o in generale con informazioni incorrette. Controlla nel pannello di controllo Paypal, se chiedono verifica faranno qualche microprelievo sulla carta di credito associata. La notifica di verifica del tuo conto Paypal avvenuta impiega qualche settimana. Normalmente il solo Process credit prende 2-3 giorni lavorativi. Diciamo che se hai tutto in regola da quando metti in vendita i L$ a quanto ricevi il credito disponibile sulla tua carta passano al massimo 2 settimane.

I might be unpopular, but I honestly support the decision of not offering the mod body. Customers often do not realize that SL designers are generally hobbyist, single developers and only in very few cases small, semi-professional organized teams, who do not meet in an office with other companies' representatives to decide about future standards to be adopted, and to discuss about compatibility among their different and unique production lines. In short, something universally compatible can't exist, because you will always end up getting an unoptimized product. Contrarly the closed system of choice, known its limitations, and known its points of strenght, forces the developer's energies to be focused on the developement and improvement exclusively for that certain system.

Nerogoth, you clearly do not know what you are talking about. Nothing is handed full perm.The developer sets the texture UUIDs into a web page after one authorizes the item through a scripted object. Having a texture UUID and having the full perm texture are two different things. Nobody with winning cards in the hands -and thousand dollars- can be so stupid to deliberately cheat with the ToS. Also, according to the ToS, nothing in SL is really yours. You can only claim your intellectual property when infringed by others with a takedown notice. Or move the dispute elsewhere with real advocates. With malicious intentions, EVERYTHING that you see on your screen might be potentially stolen by EVERYBODY. Anyway, what is the risk developing for TMP - getting more exposure? Also, old residents (or better, old-minded residents) like Bobbie Faulds should stop to act like a guru with the only 2 - 3 brands they know. And this whole topic is about MALE not female. And about male skins, maybe years ago -when you could count the skin designers on one hand's fingers- Redgrave and Belleza were the best, but they are not the best anymore. Ciao! Guarda, capisco che puoi sentire la mancanza di scrivere nativamente nella nostra lingua, ma i gruppi italiani su SL sono una razza piuttosto particolare. Tranne le dovute eccezioni, si tratta di minoranza di mentalità piuttosto chiusa, che tende ad associarsi in piccoli gruppi che in genere durano non più di un paio di settimane, principalmente con il fine di trovare partnership da tradurre nella vita reale. Se quindi cerchi esclusivamente amicizia, probabilmente questa amicizia durerebbe fino a quando non sarai in grado di soddisfare appieno la curiosità dei nuovi 'amici'. Di solito gli italianimedi affittano una sim a società, con l'idea di tirare su un disco club o qualche cooperativa di negozi di qualità che va da 'economico e popolare' a scendere. Anzi, è solito vedere le due cose insieme: discoteca al centro, negozi intorno. Appena iniziano i tradimenti, le gelosie, o quando la fetta non si divide in parti uguali, va tutto all'aria. Il vibe italiano è solitamente piuttosto negativo, c'è molta gelosia ed è solito imbattersi in soggetti altamente frustrati che si sono avvicinati ad SL senza avere nemmeno idea di come ci si comporta in una chat, o che trattano SL ed i suoi contenuti come se si trattasse di un videogioco qualunque, senza avere chiara la sua indentità di community fatta di persone reali che produce user content. Non mi piace generalizzare, ma traducendolo in numeri, mi è capitata la stessa, identica esperienza negativa su almeno 5 gruppi di italiani. Se principalmente si trova piacere nel creare ed esplorare, imparare, sfidare sè stessi rapportandosi al nuovo, ti posso confermare che personalmente gli stranieri mi hanno dato molto di più, sono una grande fonte di arricchimento personale e di apertura mentale.

Credo che nessuno faccia report a qualcuno senza motivo, e che da parte della LL non ci sia nessun interesse a bannare un Resident senza nessun motivo valido, dato che ogni resident è una potenziale fonte di guadagno. Fax a 15 Euro? Guarda che esistono molti servizi internet che ti permettono di inviare fax gratuiti a tutto il mondo, di solito con il limite di uno al giorno, il che e' piu' che sufficiente. Li utilizzo personalmente. Google dovrebbe esserti amico. Ovviamente per rendere effettivo un fax, si dovrebbe essere almeno in grado di comporre un messaggio chiaro, possibilmente in Inglese, e che non suoni come la protesta di un malmenato. In ogni caso, per riassumerti il ToS in due parole, in caso di ban definitivo nulla ti è dovuto, nemmeno la notifica. Puoi solo chiedere che sia rivisitato il tuo caso, ed è inutile insistere, verrai notificato solo in caso di successo.

Anyway, according to his manager, he is ok, it was necessary for him to leave the game for something urgent in RL. Well, this is a bit vague - let's include the loss of a relative, I would have spent at least a word for his followers. He ran a successful business since 2007 (we can easily assume it was successful, since it lasted over 7 years) and it's a tough choice to suddenly shut it down. In one way I understand he erased all Marketplace it doesn't cost a thing to let them there for lifetime, maybe he wanted to be polite since he wasn't able to offer support anymore. I noticed He let the groups to show up in the search (they drain 30L$ every 2 weeks?). Anyway I do not really believe the DMCA thing. He used to sell templates and he always developed good quality sculpts (back in the days) and meshes, but of course nothing we can't really know. Good luck KR
