Hello all. For the past week or so, I've been encountering a very frustrating bug where Second Life will completely stop registering parcel crossings.
Upon crossing the line from one parcel to the next, in the URL bar, the name of the old parcel (Ie, Funhouse) will still be displayed despite no longer being on it. Coordinates remain working properly but the environmental settings of the old parcel persist. Once this bug has happened, I lose the ability to teleport, as doing so will result in TP fail. Also when this bug has been triggered, other sims will no longer load, as in, I can't walk to them even if there is a valid connection, they will never render.
I've asked around without much luck, and am eager for a solution, as having to restart the client (the only thing that fixes it) multiple times per day is very frustrating.
The sim I've encountered this on has been restarted since it first began without luck, and nobody else there seems to have this issue. I am not experiencing any connection lag either, but maybe SL is specifically dropping packets about my position? This almost feels like a position desync, like the server thinks I'm somewhere I'm not, despite me physically being elsewhere and others seeing me elsewhere.
Viewer is the latest release of Firestorm for Windows, and I am on Windows 10. If this is more a post for the server section, feel free to move it. I would love any help I can get.
