  1. Update: Just now it seems I am finally able to access most direct SL content again, however the cause of the error was still mysterious what just happened. Looking to contact my ISP first about it. I am however experiencing a bit of a poor experience upon login in SL this time with music stopping on intervals much more often, as if my connection is spotty after that long-lasting error. Considering that this happened before too (inability to access SL) I don't know if I should brace for another in near future. Hopefully can find the answer to it before that happens again? Update 2: (7 hours after the first update above) And it happened again. Marketplace inaccessible, aswell as other direct reference SL websites for me. However this time I'm logged in to SL already, and seems like I'm not disconnected at all while logged in. However, I have rather spotty experience with parcel music trying to stream (stoppages every so often) and can't access any SL websites in the in-viewer browser, returning the same Timed Out error with code -7. Tell-tales like this would be saying that my connection might just be bad, but seeing bandwidth tests... doesn't seem to be. Extra confused!
  2. I've tested my bandwidth. Seems fine. I've tried pinging the marketplace and search, it turns out fine and successful too. I've checked in to e*****up following the blog's tip and user numbers seem to be on a steady curve of up and down. And yet, no possible access to any of SL''s related direct sites (not even Secondlife's main site. Weird, right?) except this forum and gridstatus. As for viewer wise, the problem is not to just trying to login, but even at the home screen for logging in, it shows a timeout error covering most of the screen, unable to show any destinations and SL grid news. Logging in would be fruitless with such too. I had however tried accessing marketplace through a proxy site. Surprisingly, it works (however predictably some interactive elements are disabled while in a proxy site). The same thing happened when I try to use a different browser's built in VPN to open SL marketplace and Search website - a confusing success. I have a suspicion there's something on my end on this, but I don't know what, as other websites and applications not related to SL works fine and connects quickly. Online surfing for answers suggest that either DNS issues (ISP messing up or bad cache), or, God forbid, SL is being blocked by my ISP (could've been.... that'd be gravely) or country's government (which would be stupid, but they did tried that stunt before on a major site everyone needed and it costed them...), or a very rare case issue.
  3. I have trouble connecting to Second Life and making login to the viewer, with the viewer coughing up a Timed Out error with code -7 every time. Accessing Marketplace, Profiles and Search website of SL doesn't work either and only kept loading then finished with nothing at all to display, or sometimes instead shows a website load error with Connection Reset (instead of Timed Out like the viewer). I have the Timed Out error too yesterday and the other day in the viewer when trying to connect (however it was before the marketplace and billing maintenance, it was fine after that. Marketplace, Profiles and Search wasn't affected when I was unable to access except for during the maintenance itself where I can access SL Viewer but not the marketplace). It has been ongoing since... if counting from the time I'm posting this topic, it'd be 4 hours now. I am however able to access here, the community forums. And checked the gridstatus website, says that everything is fine (doubt?). I can access most other websites well and every other application except SL Viewer, Marketplace, Profile web and Search web. Is there an unscheduled maintenance that affects specific accounts at this time, or is there other things that are preventing me from accessing those?
