Look. I've been around a long time. Since 2009. The only thing keeping me around are a few friends I have left on here. One of them passed away. Another one just randomly stopped coming online. I'm really sorry I don't fit into the "I love SL forever and no matter what" crowd. I'm also sorry that you take every form of criticism for your stupidly precious program as trolling. The person who laughs at everything is more of a troll than I am. Get real. Without friends here, it's boring. Lonely. It's a bland second life. Between all the trolls, the people who just want to bang, the griefers, ones who use you, and the downright cruel, it's not fun. I've experienced a lot in my time here and at some point I will just go. But just because someone thinks differently than you, doesn't give you or anyone else the f*****g right to tell them they should go. And honestly, people like you are the reason why I'm so picky about who I choose to be friends with. You're just toxic af. You don't really add anything positive to anyones SL experience. And believe me, there are a lot of yous. You're not alone.

What, exactly, are you supposed to imagine in Second Life? Literally every fantasy theme is based around either medevial times or elves. It's basic. There's no imagination here. Take a flickr picture for 500 views though. Ive lost my own drive to create unique landscaped sims because everyone just makes the same thing, the same style for....money. Money drives the unimaginative people in SL. Most people don't care about imagination in here.

Exploration is not fun if there's no reward. You go to a sim, look around....and then what? Lay on a beach blanket and pretend to tan, hoping some beefed up muscle male doesn't hit on you? RP is crap due to so much drama involved so that's not fun. Wading through lag is not fun. Driving is hilariously terrible and not fun. Landscaping and decorating is fun but is a quick burnout. Second Life just doesn't have any life. It's bland. Most people log in, stand on a platform and tab out.

I don't really understand the Speedlight partnership if it doesn't reflect "future plans". Last I heard, they dropped the mobile thing completely. You shouldn't start a buzz and then go completely silent and then announce something like this. LL should really work on their communication skills because now it's just confusing. If they are wanting to keep their mobile plans a secret, they shouldn't have discussed it in the forums.

The problem with Linden Lab is they say they are working on this or that and get people's hopes up and then either drop it completely or release something that's totally mediocre. And they suck at communication. Over in the mobile, it was being discussed with Lindens about the direction of mobile and then it just abruptly stopped. And this....monstrosity....was released. So one can only assume this is all we get for mobile.

Lumiya was created by a single regular person and is still popular to this day even after going defunct years ago. Linden Lab, a multi-million dollar company, struggled so much to create a mobile app of its own that it just gave up and let a third party Viewer turn it's residents into stick people as a mobile option for their highest membership plan. That is sad. I don't care what any of you have to say. That. Is. Sad.

It being a perk is irrelevant. The imagery along with "enables Residents to stay connected with Second Life while on the go", gives the impression that you are able to use Second Life while on the go....in full 3D format. Speedlight is not a well known viewer. This gives them more widespread visibility. It's a business deal as they are now the official mobile viewer for Second Life. They are going to get a lot of criticism for their poor 3D rendering and Linden Lab will get criticism for their false portrayal of Speedlights 3D rendering which could result in a lawsuit from someone thinking that's what the viewer would look like.

Imagine paying $200 only to look like a stick figure on mobile. Their 3D rendering is a joke. It's basically just a fancy text viewer. And Linden Labs ad for it is extremely misleading. Youre not an avatar on Speedlight, you're a stick figure with the most basic 3D rendering. It has serious issues rendering a mesh house. This whole feature is nothing more than a joke.

Premium Plus subscribers now get extra benefits in the SpeedLight viewer!

The single thought process of people here is mind-blowing. If you think getting this for Premium Plus is a "feature", then I really have nothing else to say on the matter. -

There's too many paywalls. People still prefer Lumiya and that's been defunct for years so if that doesn't speak volumns I don't know what will.
