Hi there! I'm back in SL and I'm facing my arch nemesis: choosing a house. I'd really like to find a nice cottage or a Victorian farmhouse style home, but I can't really find anything. Another problem I'm having is that a lot of SL house interiors are so bleak and cold feeling. I don't mind doing some modding, but I am a little worried about completely breaking the house lol. I like Scarlet Creative, Trompe O'Leil, L2 Studio and I have one Onsu house but found it hard to customize. I like the Linden Home Victorians but I'm renting land this time so I can perhaps open up a little art shop and gallery at some point. Do you all have any suggestions?

Sorry, I'm kinda stupid but what is the difference between an SLUV and Senra? And what would I look for if I were looking for skins that would work for Senra? I have a Maitreya body and Genus head (that I don't understand how to use lol) but I wanted to try and play with the starter avatars

I didn't like the fantasy homes because the region was just way too laggy for me. I wanted to set up my art gallery here, but I was worried the lag would drive people away. It's fine in the sky, but on the ground it was terrible. I haven't been back in a while, though, so maybe it's changed? and the setup of the homes themselves were a bit awkward? I really wanted more space to have a garden in the back as well, but I never seemed to have enough room. Maybe that's just me, though. I get a little intimidated when I have a house that's too big and I get frustrated when it's too small lol

Hi there, I'm sorry if this topic exists already, I couldn't find anything recent. I was wondering if it's common or acceptable to sell prints of your Second Life photography? I have a lot of photos I thought would make nice art prints and I wanted to add them to my shop with prints of my artwork since SL photography is something I really enjoy. I know some SL artists do, like Whiskey Monday, but since I do a lot of on-location stuff (mostly with my avatar in them, but some without) I wasn't sure. Since SL is made up of other people's art and creations and a sim is basically someone's art, I wasn't sure if it was okay to do. Are there any guidelines as far as selling your SL photography on an art print site like RedBubble or Society6? Or does it depend on the location or creator of the items in the picture? There's nothing wrong with it. Some people just like to be mean. And the people who are jerks aren't worth your time anyway. I second the posts that say sometimes it's the regions, maybe there is a theme or something? When I started in SL, I only had a human avatar and I would go to furry spaces and get the cold shoulder because I didn't have a furry avatar. Same thing when I had a furry avatar, or because I have shorter avatars, sometimes they are mistaken for child avatars. But there are other times that are fine. I roam around as a wolf sometimes, and it's fun to see people say "gasp! look it's a wolf!" as if they were seeing one in the wild, it was pretty cool lol. Just do you and be you, and if people are being jerks then just walk away and go exploring. There's a whole world out there. Don't let them get you down ♥
