Horizons Aurora & Horizons Elara to be specific. They're neighboring parcels, But separate sims, so you can treat it as one large parcel if you'd like but will have a sim crossing in it lol
Believe both parcels are considered 2.5 protected
Feel free to message me on here or inworld with an offer for either or both. Not in a rush to sale, but I have nearby parcels of the same size for sale for nearly twice what I'd take, so apparently mine are priced to move lol
Links to both plots in case it's helpful:

So, a few weeks ago I added a few new Favorites to, well, my Favorites folder. The first time I tried one of the new Favorites, it didn't work, logged me in at the last place I had logged off from. I assumed it was a region restart thing. However, the next time I logged in, I was missing 3 of 5 my Favorites and now the two that did stay never work either. Whenever I use them, I get logged in wherever I logged out from and this is what it tells me each time:
So, today I decided to finally try to fix it. Deleted my Login Account info, closed Firestorm, restarted it, entered my info, still shows the 2 broken(?) Favorites while not showing the full list of them
Logged in and moved all my Favorites to a different folder so my Favorites folder is empty. Then fully cleared cache (following instructions here https://wiki.firestormviewer.org/fs_cache_clear ), still saw the 2 broken Favorites listed as login options. I deleted my saved login info Again, restarted again, those 2 still show. Logged in again and logged out thinking a fresh login after all that may help? Nope
Is my Favorites folder just forever corrupted now? The LM links in question all work without issue inworld too, for the record. Also latest version of Firestorm (6.6.17.70368)

Nope, and probably has more to do with the social anxiety and mental state of the person receiving a simple 'hi' than any measure of ill intent of the person.
I don't think the method of initiating contact with someone else is suspect, nor can any intent be assumed from a simple 'hi' as the start of that interaction.
It's not weird, even if they did search through a phone book, or in the context of SL, to search through users that may have similar interests or a profile that catches their eye and want to be social and initiate contact. That's how you make friends...
You'll be alright. They can't harm you.
Noone said you had to.
You would be the exception and not the rule.
Not only have I, personally, not had a good interaction result from a "hi" (doesn't mean every such interaction is Bad, but never had a "hi" intro lead to chatting again), but in regards to the looking me up "phone book style", I've had Only bad interactions with people I didn't meet "in person" as a way of meeting (outside of occasions where friends are like "Oh, poke X, you 2 would get along great")
Can only speak from my own experiences, but the "out of the blue" intros have always been Complete train wrecks for me lol

I mean, "meh, I'd rather do it in RL" probably describes most activities lol

That would actually be pretty cool. But unfortunately I think it would be easily exploited because of the name discounts.
249/12= 20.75
Name change with PP= 20.75+15=35.75
Subtract with stipend=35.75-11=24.75
Subtract with Signup bonus (Assuming it's different from regular premium, where you would require to buy 2 months to receive it)=24.75-12=12.75
nope, requires 2 months

One thing to keep in mind that I think many on SL seem to overlook is the differences between SL and RL
If someone approaches you in RL and simply says "Well hello there....", you've an abundance of knowledge to draw from them. Their accent (or lack thereof), the tone and intonation of their words along with any particular emphasis placed and where, their scent, wrinkled clothes, how they walked, the speed they walked, a myriad of body language cues that help you gauge an opinion of them (consciously nor not) within moments
On SL, it's mostly: are they giants, able to dress themselves without glitching, blank profile or full, AO or not .... so a "well hello there" tends to come across as more bland than it would (or could) in RL. MANY in SL also tend to drop a "hi" and offer nothing when that's replied to often, which further stigmatizes a simple hello. "Hi" tends to mostly entail "hi .... this is me letting you know i find you cute but am either unwilling or unable to say more than hi, so now its up to you to carry this convo so dance for me, monkey!" 🤣
I'm one of the apparent few that leans a bit more toward the extrovert side, but if you're less than stellar in social situations or what have you, I imagine it would improve the same way most skills do, through practice. Go talk up some randos that you don't particularly care if they reply or not? Also, I've found that a VAST majority of SL are scared to initiate convos first and many seem to be surprised when I start one lol .... so I imagine just starting with something more than vanilla "hi" is half the battle 😛

But if the gift experience is bad, chances are I'll just shrug, write off the money and then never come back. Same with customer service interactions. On the chance there's an issue and I feel like it's not my own idiocy, I ask nicely and upon no reply or a bad reply, I nod, say "It's alright, thank you, have a nice day" and never come back.
This, so much. Made a double purchase at Scandalize like a year ago and contacted the owner and the manager via IM and NC. No biggie, just 250L or whatever, so wasn't really rushed. But, Never got any reply. In order to avoid refunding 250L, they lost out on a shopoholic returning. Heck, just refunding it in store credit would've been fine with me lol
Have also left tips for creators who have a unique and interesting store design or layout as a thanks for standing out in a way that's aesthetically pleasing when so many creators kinda cookie-cutter their stores. Your store is your way of putting yourself out there, a way to stand out from the pack with a different building choice or some customized textures inside, something to make it feel like YOUR store instead of just 'a' store
1 minute ago, Love Zhaoying said:Having the "thing people most likely want" at the "back of the store" is common for RL retail stores, too. Not sure why it's ok! But, it's normalized because of being common in RL.
The reason for this is to get people to walk through the store to [hopefully] find more stuff they wanna get to spend more money (at least in RL that's the reason)

Whilst true, the problem with Second Life is that the cow is already being milked dry. There is only so much Linden Lab can offer of value in premium to residents and this is the problem with their premium offers. There is also only so much a person is willing to spend on a premium model.
Other than group amount increases, more mainland/belli home and reduction in upload fees, what else can LL offer to entice people to spend money directly to them?
There is nothing and what things they do have that would benefit money making for them and improve user experience, they want tied behind premium or are not interested in offering separately if at all. LL dont know how to run their offerings and this has always been an issue for them.
They think that there is value in premium gifts, when most dont even get them. They think there is value in premium sandboxes when most times they are empty. They think there is value in premium locations such as amazon and dune buggy racing when 99% of the time no one is there. They think there is value in live support when most people expect that to be free.
[cut off to save space lol]
1) The premium gifts were Always awful. I stopped checking when I was still a noob who wasn't even great at noticing differences in quality yet. I was floored that nobody involved in the company apparently was able to create. MAYBE that's changed, but isn't something I'll be holding my breath on lol
2) At a certain point, the only way to extract more value is to make a bigger pie, aka attract more users. If they've reached the pinnacle on the userbase then that's a much more worrying sign. Are we even sure how much attention they pay (or try to pay) to new alts vs Actual new users during account creations?

Yes I do get the impression this particular package was aimed at someone like you.
Apparently there will be other packages, and a la carte packages, so perhaps there will be other offerings for different types of SL residents. It's good to hear what other people might want in this thread though -- those who aren't impressed with free uploads as they don't upload all that much.
im a group whore, havent had more than 1 free group slot in over 5 years .... been in SL for a little over 6 years now and not too active the first 8 months or so lol
70 more groups is, kinda embarrassingly, a big selling point for me .... will be refreshing to be able to join friends groups lol

So, I want to make the most basic experience for my parcel that simply sets a custom made EEP for when people come over. I know I can share it with people and set it as the default EEP in Parcel Details, but I'd rather make it easier for guests if possible.
I got the Experience Key and named it and such, but I can't find anywhere online that explains the bare basics on what to do next? Make a script in my inventory with the Experience name?
Sorry for the super noob question and thanks for anyone able to offer any assistance 🙃
