A last look at Summer.

Not a lot of time, really. I mostly just crop the picture and adjust things like colour curves, contrast and shadows. I then usually sharpen the image a bit and for my more 'noirish' pictures sometimes add noise for a grainy feel, and that's about it. My thought is its best to get the picture as good as you can in Second Life and just use editing to enhance a little.

This picture was taken for an exhibition I showed in Second Life at the Nitroglobus Gallery called 'Noir' and is part of my take on Film Noir photography.

The Photographs I take and have posted here make use of the Black Dragon Viewer, which I love and find gives me tools to improve my pictures. As with all things it is a matter of preference, but it is worth experimenting with. You can find details here Focus is also a very active Photography Group in Second Life and it's worth joining their group. They organize competitions and tutorials. Unlike Fritigern I do make use of editors but generally only to adjust contrast and similar things.

Wanted Dead or Alive For Grand Larceny, Robbery, Assault and Foul Murder Red Riding Hood and Accomplice The Bastard Spawn of Robbing Hood Takes from the Rich (or the poor, she don't care) and keeps for herself Sweet and Innocent, She is Not!
