  2. Unfortunately, that is how all Rez Boxes work, you have to put a script in the objects to tell the rez box where to place the object. So if some parts are no mod you are out of luck. Hope this helps.
  3. Another thing to keep in mind I found out when I was building houses, there is only 8 slots per mesh for textures. I found that it ends up being very spendy to upload a mesh house in SL unless you already have all your textures in your inventory. That's why I gave up and started building furniture lol. But I think your house is looking very nice so far though. I hope it works out for you.

Another thing I have found with Blender and uploading Collada from it is, manually triangulate your mesh within blender and disable the option in the upload settings in blender "Triangulate Mesh". I have found that SL triangulates it automatically if it doesn't like the way it was triangulated. This way you can also see if you have any extra verts where they should not be and gives you an idea of where the small triangles are. Where SL has troubles with buildings is if there are a lot of doors and windows. Also, when you build your physics model be sure to delete any surface on the tops and bottoms of all doors and remove all surfaces inside the windows, so you are only left with inside and outside walls. And all doorways remove the headers as you will not be walking above the door opening lol. This is how I find the easiest and best way of making buildings and exporting to SL thanks to all the great help from these forums. Your physics model has to be as simple as possible to cut down on LI.
  5. I was wondering if there was a button to slow down things when moving them around or lining things up like in Blender? I believe as you are moving an object in Blender you press the shift key and it moves very slowly.
  6. Not sure if this is the correct place to ask this but I would like some input. First off I know it has been around for a while now, but I am really slow when it comes to new stuff so you can pretty much say I am a fence sitter. I would like to know: 1 What exactly is it? 2 What is it's advantages? 3 How exactly is it used i.e. what exactly is the process and the things that are required/needed other then a compatible viewer. This is very prevalent in the game now, and would like to know if it is worth even investing my time in it. I would appreciate any input on this, Thanks!
  7. I have been getting this error occasionally that I don't understand and can find no info on it in google. It says when I select a model "LOD model has no parent" What causes this and how can I fix it? Is it a setting in blender when I export it? I am using the latest Blender 3.2., but it happens in all the versions that I use.
  8. I think you were right Jenna! The animation I was using said it was set for 30s no loop, so I tried another script That didn't have any time or loop settings and it works great. So I think you were right about the animation. Thanks for your input and I think this is solved now Thank You muah!
  9. Thanks for the reply Jenna but the animation plays ok. The first thing in my testing I have turned my AO off and has been off during the whole testing time. That was what I thought it was at first but it wasn't.
  10. Thank you so much for your fast reply! I just checked the script outside of the object to see if it was the object doing it and it still does it. This is very strange behavior. all my tests are being done at Builders Brewery sand box, don't think that is it but I thought it was worth mentioning. And thanks again for your reply
  11. I have a really strange problem. I am designing a hot tub to sell and I am all done except getting the sits scripts installed. I am pretty sure it is not script specific because I have tried more then one sit script system and I get the same results. What I am experiencing is: I got all the scripts in there designated spot and all animations in the object inv. aand everything seems great, the avatar is sitting correctly in position and in about 30 seconds the avatar floats up about a meter above the position as in the picture. I have one of the scripts I used on my private grid that was modified to run in Opensimulator and it works flawlessly. The other script I am using currently was designed for SL and it is called nPose v4.01 available on the Marketplace. Any help would be really appreciated. I am slightly script literate and could not see anything I could change without mucking up the script. Thanks in advance
