Autumns Fall....

For local chat in SL in a club, some of that comes down to the host. A good host can get local chat rolling and make new folks in the club feel they can jump into a convo. A bad host that spams "Hoooooooooooooo", or "I LOVE THIS TUNE", or "This DJ rooooooooooocks" over and over again should be sacked and someone more competent hired. I have been to a lot of club, big and small, and one of the major keys to get local chat rolling is that host. Time and time again, a club with dead local chat has a host that spamming gestures ad infinitum instead of actually using their keyboard and typing.

Well, this news has me and the girls worried. All three of us use Lara, and all three of us have over 800 matching outfits when we go out dancing. Now I know that we can just keep using the old body, but if it gets to the stage where the clothing creators that we use end up dropping Lara 5.3 and switch to LaraX then we will eventually be forced into LaraX as well. The thought of having to slowly replace those 800+ outfits has me worried, some (a minority) of clothing shops will do a free update. However, the vast majority of them will decide to cash in on the new body, release the SAME outfit with the new rig and expect people to buy it a second time.

lol! Yeah it was Fenny's idea (she's the brunette) to take an all latex outfit pic in a grungy place. Usually its myself or Lizzy who picks the spots to take pics in, Fenny decided we needed to roughen things up a bit for this one.

I was hoping that they might have done SOME sort of discount for P+ for a homestead. They aint, so i have zero intention of upgrading, the way this has worked out, it would be cheaper for me to rent a full homestead from a land baron.

Hi! I'm the poster of that flickr post, Lia Aries Yeah Lewis. William always said in his posts and marketing that his "Franks" was the original. It never was. William Batsons "Franks Jazz Club" actually opened a little over two years ago when Nancee Sinatra closed the ORIGINAL two franks clubs of Franks Jazz and Franks Elite. 2 days later...William opened his copy, Nancee Sinatra teleported in and started screaming abuse at him on voice. She was banned. Three weeks later, William Zeta (totally different william) re-opened the true original Franks Jazz, Franks Elite and Bogarts with Nancee's blessing on the original regions that Nancee owned. The Zeta ran Franks Jazz is the original. Batsons never was. Now, on the subject of old Prive/Franks regulars, there is a new group opened up for folks of the club, its called "ex-prive" search for it on SL Group search and join it, there is a couple of places opened up (one of them called "Frankies") where a lot of the old regulars, and old banned regulars like The Charlies Angels, are now going to.

The Second Life Blogger Network (the one ran by LL itself). Me and the girls have been making great, long form text reviews of places on the grid. When i go to the news feed for the LL Blogger Network all i'm seeing is overly photoshopped pictures that DO NOT represent Second Life in the viewer AT ALL

Yeah. CDS (Confederation of Democratic Simulators) vast swathes of yellow for sale land. New Babbage (where i have a plot) has seen a downturn since the newer LL homes opened. Caledon is the same. Other planned communities have also seen the decline since Linden Lab opened their council estates on the market. If Second Life is eventually going to turn into continents of rabbit hutch sized boring houses with postage stamp sized gardens and the REAL COMMUNITIES take a nose dive, well, SL will have no interest to me at that point.

Another hippy one, messed with some filters to give it the old Kodachrome look of the late 60's early 70's...
