Hello everyone, I'm back~~ I just finished up a portrait for someone on SL! A big "Thank You" to that person for giving me a chance to draw something for them. It makes me really happy to surprise another person with a personal gift! Let me know if any one of you is interested to receive a ~free~ commission from me. This time I only need a front and side image of your character. A short description is not necessary, but would be nice in case you want to highlight something. If you have any other personal request like a certain style you wish to be incorporated into the artwork than feel free to share that with me, too. Thank you so much for your advice so far, I really appreciate it and I understand for a lot of people this might come off as weird, haha. The reason why I try to make art via this route is because... I don't know, making art for people directly is much more meaningful to me than making random art of something or someone who will probably never see it. This way I hope I can make someone happy with a nice portrait of something that's personal and significant to them. I can imagine a lot of people on SL are very proud of their avi's and would love nothing more than to have them portraited, just like a RL loved one or their pets. Again, I am offering to make portraits for free now, hopefully this way people will be less reluctant to approach me. ^^;; Also, I'm not a difficult person at all, so if there's anything wrong or not to your liking I am happy to compensate in whichever way I can. Anyhow, my offer still stands so if anyone wants in on it then feel free to contact me here, or in SL!~ (Sorry if my replies take too long.. My maximum posts cap really quick since I'm new, lol. I have to wait at least a day before I can say something else. 😧)

Yes, you're absolutely right and someone else pointed this out to me, too. However, I don't like my avi as she currently is and since there are so many people here with gorgeous looking avi's... I'd thought it'd much more fun just to jump right ahead and make art of them! As I told the other person, I understand if people are not willing to take the risk, but if you don't like the end result in no way are you obliged to pay me and I don't ask for any money upfront. This is just a fun way for me to practice and maybe, maybe make some money in the process. The portfolio thing is quite a sensitive issue for me... I feel the material I have right now is not appropriate for the kind of art I would like to make for SL, if that makes sense. I am literally starting from scratch. I'm thinking of offering up my art for free then, but since I put so much work and effort into it I thought at least a tenner wouldn't be too much to ask... And of course ONLY if you are happy with it. Actually, I just got a new idea: How about I make my first piece entirely ~free~? At least then I'll have something to showcase here and prove my worth, hehe. I also thought that, perhaps I don't need a front and side image of your avi... A nice SL picture of your character would do, too, since there are so many pretty SL pictures out there as well. Whatever you think captures your avi *best*. I don't really ask for much, just an opportunity to hone my drawing skillz and build up my portfolio. My only desire is to draw beautiful people~

Yes, you're right! But I spend so much time and energy on a single piece, that I figured a tenner wouldn't be too much to ask... But I understand if people won't take the risk. Also, it is *kind* of free. If you don't like the end result, you are not obliged to pay at all and I don't ask for your money upfront. Just a chance to hone my skillz and work to fill my portfolio with~ I would create art of my own sim, but I don't like the look of her right now... And I honestly prefer making art of/for other people, hehe. Since I'm so new, I've been looking for jobs in order to pay for my SL expenses but none of them appeal to me so far... That's why I though, perhaps I could offer up my "talents" in exchange for some Linden cash. 😁 Sooo... Is anyone here interested in receiving a digitally drawn portrait of their SL avatar? I will do a digitally drawing of your SL avatar for only 3.200L$ (equivalent of 10 bucks). Right now I'm just trying to build my portfolio, hence the low pricing.🙂 For now I offer up my services for ~free~! Let me know in the comments below if you're interested, or hit me up with a DM inworld! All my digital portraits come in the sizes of 1080 by 1080 px. This is a nice decent size for you to use across all social media platforms. Of course alternate sizes can be negotiated as well. Keep in mind that these portraits are digitally *drawn*, not painted. I might fully render them if I feel like it on a given day, but most likely I will keep it to cell-shaded line art portraits. Also, the time I will be spending on your portrait is completely up to me. Since I'm asking for such a low price, I think it's fair enough that I work on it at my own pace. I will try my best to finish it up "on time", but I want to ensure that they are of the best quality possible. All I ask of you is to send a front, en profile, *back and 1/3 side picture (*are optional but preferred) of your desired avatar. Make sure that it is of high enough quality for me to see the details. Let me know of any specifics you want to be highlighted. It would also be nice if you added a short character description of your avatar so I can have a better "feel" of your avatar's personality.
