psst @Ayashe Ninetails, i dug out my furry avatar and updated them. happier with the results.

ive had multiple instances of horny dudes or other-wise weird ppl bombarding me while in my home. mostly happened in non-linden homes. still did happen once in the linden home. i recently switched back to mainland, but i'm in a skybox. i'd be very surprised if i dealt with that up here, that'd take determination XD the weirdest case i can remember was i was working on Goromi avatar and i noticed this guy in a starter avatar staring through the window at me. i asked him what he was doing. i cant remember his response, but he stayed outside my windows for a little longer before leaving. it was awkward. that rental i was in couldn't use security orbs. orbs can be a nuisances to set up but after several creepy encounters, the security orb will stay.

i knew bc the 2018 tumblr purge was a result of apple's app-store policies that adult content in sl would take a hit on the mobile app. not sure how discord, twitter, and a few other still have nsfw on ios to this day (i'm not complaining tho). hopefully there's a solution that doesn't impact users too much in the long run. anyways, i'll keep using sl on my desktop either way. i prefer doing stuff on a pc compared to phones.

no unfortunately. what i ended up doing was just upload only the arm tattoo as a texture in sl then putting that into the legacy advance material editor hud. either video linked in this thread shows how to do that. to me it seems that method is the only way. idk if using asymmetric bom layers is an option at all when it comes to legacy. i never contacted the creator of legacy to be sure tho. on a tattoo i sell i just made an arm-less full body tattoo as a bom tattoo layer then ppl can use the legacy arm tattoo textures in the advanced material editor.

slink. I have the male body and two male heads. Wish I could’ve gotten a few more of their mesh heads before the shop closed. I occasionally bust out the slink male still bc I had quite a bit of clothes for it and it still has a large bit of stuff out there.

yeah i feel all my avatars got that queerness edge in appearance well bc i am. this avatar does have a smaller chest bc i didn't really want a big-breasted look on her. most of my avatars fall into the queer spectrum too, just dont really have anything defined for most of them. I actually did have a femme femboy wearing some of those outfits i shared on her but eventually they got binned, so i transferred all the clothes to this avatar. before that she was way more gender neutral. IRL i'm masc, and hate the lack of masc clothes for maitreya at times. (v tech exists but i hated using it, it was glitchy when swapping avatars all the time. so i just alpha out the boobs if its vtech clothes). idk if you know the author who wrote Nana & Paradise kiss but they were originally a fashion designer. so all the characters in there manga sport different looks throughout the story. same with momo from peach girl. gotta love that fashion flare in comics. I'm going to look up that manhwa btw. I also change my hairstyle probably like once a year irl, so maybe that's it too. went from long hair to short hair like 2 years ago like it was nothing. and even then, ive changed the short hairstyle few times since then. this wasnt the first time i did that tho. i've cut my hair short and grew it back out several times in my life. wont dye my hair again tho, i hated the process of it the few times i tried

Thanks and no worries I didn’t read it as criticism. I’m more surprised she looks so different to others in each outfit. Never really thought it was so drastic. I probably just realize it bc I had to put it all together. The skin is the same tho in each one. I just own a lot of bom makeup layers and hair. Especially from freebies and cheapbies. Might as well not let it go to waste is my thinking. A few of my avatars maybe have one to max two alternate hairstyle but this one has some many variations. Guess you could pretend she wears wigs.

Maybe that was my aos fault? the tomboyish one, which is funny as I actually used a male ao for that specific outfit. The others I used a female one called “tranquil.” I hate ao that move and walk around too much. on the shape it’s set to 50 on bow legs/knees, I never touch that setting. I’m wearing maitreya. I didn’t realize it even realize it looked like that. XD

I realized that. Sorry, I missed that rule completely in the og post. I assumed it was ok since a few other ppl posted their avatar in a few outfits. those avatars looked more consistent than than mine did tho. I could always repost it, if you want?

i didn't get any feedback on my og post in this thread, and i probably failed at making it clear that i was curious in that post. so what specifically made some ppl pick confused on this particular avatar? I'm sorry for not separating images, i didn't want to clog the chat when i posted as its the same avatar. my decision to do that it probably ended up making it harder for ppl to gauge/pick an emoji. i wonder if the tomboyish outfit was what threw some ppl off? it could be the genus babyface head too? i want her to be chubby which is a challenge at times with what sl offers 😭

yeah so many stores are on a-rated land. i have a dinkie and non-human starkin too. which i tend not to tp anywhere too bc they're little animals basically. idk how dinkies & tinies are viewed by the general sl population. i personally see them as adults/full grown animals.

yeah i realize in hindsight what i said can be misinterpretation as calling ppl ignorant for not liking anime. what i specifically meant was there's no excuse to degrade a culture you know little about. which i feel personally kept getting done.

by culturally short-sighted was meant in regard to japan and it's anime/manga media, not usa anime fans (pretty sure @Persephone Emerald meant it that way too). never did i imply everyone should know the ins & outs of the style or media. i've previously said multiple times i understand not everyone know much about anime and showed some examples. anyways, i'm bowing out of this particular conversation. i've made myself clear enough.

i dont go to regular adult sims as my anime avatars unless it's a-rated anime sim. which i tend not to go to any anime sims usually just bc I've had mixed experiences. i dont play as anime characters much in general. i typicall visit mostly moderate sims anyways.
