  1. The shoes are COCO's Pointy Flat Florals, a group gift. It's rigged for Maitreya, but fits the Jamie feet just fine as long as they're sized at 25. I don't mind the bulge here. This shape is a curvy Lelutka Raven head/body shape I modified from the default.
  2. Pulled my Senra from the closet. Upgraded the body to latest release. Still on the Raven head.
  3. At the moment, it's capped at 12 hours per session for free users.
  4. Do these graphical artifacts appear in other 3d games or apps? Just curious.
  5. Love this shape! The Kaya is wonderful for fantasy looks. That's my head of choice for the frozen elf look I use sometimes.
  6. Oh f mee... yeah, you're right, didn't read into it closely enough! Integrated graphics are available in many of their laptop and desktop CPU's, mine has a UHD 630 iGPU in addition to the GTX 1050.
  7. That's still happening, regardless of the viewer used. TP'd for a while today with the latest Kokua release in Linux. I'm not annoyed by it as it hasn't caused other problems for me, like randomly losing stuff in inventory, but it should be fixed soon.
  8. OP, does your laptop have a dedicated GPU? Something like a Nvidia GTX 1050 (the one my laptop runs)... based on your CPU's generation, I'd guess you might have a 1650/1660 or even a RTX 2000 series on it.
  9. If you don't mind using a different viewer, and one that has a V1 like interface, Cool VL Viewer is currently the only SL/OS viewer that can fully shut off PBR and ALM without restarting. Just a suggestion.
  10. Oh man... Y'all got to experience the fun stuff! The craziest thing I've experienced so far in any metaverse happened to one of my alts in Open Sim last year. Some dude got naked while harassing other people in Lbsa Plaza, a G rated welcome area in the OSgrid hypergrid. Monkeys surrounded him until the admins were able to subdue him. He was booted and permanently banned from OSgrid. (Of course he's probably around in a different form now...) He didn't come anywhere near my alt, who was sitting in a bench area. I do have photos of the situation on my laptop... I was laughing my pff off! Lasted about half an hour or so.
  11. Yep! As a Linux user, seeing those features pop up in Alchemy made me sniffle lol... (now if only the devs could redo it so their viewer works 100% in Open Sim like it used to ages ago...)
  12. The new Kokua update should work in your new PC. It implements PBR so it should take better advantage of the 4060's VRAM, as in using more of it for textures, etc. If you want to keep VRAM usage under control with PBR, use texture compression. Some users with high end cards have reported improvements with tc turned on.
  13. None of the TPV's can properly render the ground from there yet. With a simple tweak*, got the Windows Materials Featurettes viewer to work in Wine-dev. Unlike my last test in Win11, cranked the settings for PBR here up full, but used medium graphics. I can finally see the textured ground from my house on the other side lol! *I ran the GTX 1050 GPU in Performance mode. Hybrid mode prevents the viewer from running at all. Distro is Ubuntu Studio LTS 22.04.4, latest wine-dev @ 9.5, no extra DLLs or winetricks, no special frontends like Lutris. SLV incorrectly reported CPU speed, it was running at 4.1 GHz. Anyone else tried this experiment in a faster (or slower) PC, in whatever Linux distro? Show me your tests! 🙂🐧💻
  14. Testing some mirrors and other PBR objects with a SL test viewer in Win11*. If I lower settings on my 6 year old laptop, I get usable frame rates. Was at the Rumpus Room 2048 sim. CPU was barely pushing at 10% usage. The 1050 GPU was hitting about 80-90% usage. Textured ground looks great... I was using the lowest possible settings with the SSR stuff turned off. Mid-High graphic settings, and no one else was on. About 40 fps on average. As a point of reference for me, the DOOM 2016 FPS reboot looks way more textured than anything here, but of course that's a well optimized piece of software. I run that on low settings at 1080 to give me decent frame rates. It runs on Open GL 4.5/Vulkan vs SL's Open GL 3.3. So I guess I could keep my PC a bit longer before I have to upgrade (maybe!). I can get about 100-120 FPS on that game easily on low settings, but that's silly... I limit it to 60 FPS because of the screen + it keeps my laptop relatively cool-ish. Plus my twitch skills are close to nonexistent thanks to SL and Open Sim... *Yes, I probably could have tested this viewer in Wine while in Linux, but the Windows SL viewers crash after a few minutes so I reluctantly have to test in 11...
  15. True... I constantly upgrade my viewers anyway. I'm more of a TPV gal, especially Alchemy as the devs for it have added some features from Black Dragon. That's a huge deal for those of us TPing in Linux and Mac OS X. Anyway... OP... got anymore info then?
  16. If you're using the official LL viewer, rename or delete the SLVersionChecker.exe file. That will stop the automatic upgrades. It'll then be up to you to periodically check the site for LL viewer updates.
  17. Yep... this is partly piquing my interest in those bodies TBH. At least if I can find stuff that fits the free TMP I'd be good for a while. That + the Bladencat HUME, which is rigged like a female Legacy body.
  18. I answered that section on Discord. Basically told them I don't mind if SLUV support is removed. Just don't delete your pre v4.0 boxes of Lelutka heads if you still insist on using SLUV skins. Of course this means heads created before v4.0 may eventually not work with future bodies... but moves like this are often the price of progress. It's like Linux dropping 32 bit support for the OS a few years ago. (That can be reimplemented to a limited degree, particularly if one uses software like the Wine API.)
