My problem with skins is I have finally found a shape and look I like in a face that actually looks somewhat like me with the default values (younger sure, but not too young) in the Giwa at Moccino, but something is weird with the default BOM body skins they sell on Petite. I will get around to trying Velour for a body BOM shortly.

Was coming here to say exactly this. And I do mean exactly.

Thanks everyone. The default skin I was wearing, Sana by theSkinnery (and associated body skin, Sorbet), works on the new Giwa shape, so I have that sorted. I'd prefer to wear the skin tone I bought for the Giwa shape from Moccino and will head to Velour and hack away at the demos there for a body match of the Sunkissed Giwa face skin I bought. BTW, I always fiddle with the body shapes (and sometimes tweak the face shape a tiny bit) to make sure I don't look like some 7' tall Amazon woman with impossibly wide hips and tiny head. Who makes these shapes like that? 🤷‍♀️

Found a Moccino I like a lot! Sadly the associated body BOM/skin looks broken on Maitreya Petite

Thanks everyone. Juggling RL work *and* SL is fun I figured the Moccino demos, btw. First visit there were no demo bottles showing/rendered. Next visit there were. Weird?

Have checked out Mudskin and Nonnative and now also Moccino. Can not figure out how to find demos of the skins at Moccino, but am trying my best

Currently wearing Sana from [theSkinnery] with some eye changes by Izzies, but still looking for a better and more specifically Japanese look/skin. Angular and classic. Shape I can manage to customize well but faces I can only tweak so I need a good base to work with. And something that doesn't make me look like a baby-faced 18-year old kawaii girl. That look on a mid-30s woman (me) is weird to me, and I never was into that look growing up A lot of the Asian-themed skins look to me to be too generic or SE Asian focused. ItGirl maybe? I thought about a year ago when i came back to SL I came across a store dedicated to Japanese skins and shapes, but I didn't know how to keep landmarks back then and have forgotten the place. Thoughts?

I had an old account I am no longer using and it still shows up in the pulldown menu above my current login. I know it sounds trivially unimportant, and wouldn't bother most people, but is there any way to remove that one name so I only have my current name in the pulldown?

For example, Zindra + 3072 so I can sort by price and visit each one in turn, staring with the lowest priced parcel? I'm currently manually using map view and just slowly moving around the continent clicking on everything I see, with no way to sort on price.

I managed to get it to work as you say, Zed. Chatted to someone in world and they stressed a very rapid double click, but weirdly enough I had tried that. I was in a dog-friendly grassy area and had never had any luck, yet back at my apartment on the wooden floor I finally got the rapid double click to work. I have no idea why I wasn't able to before ... I had easily tried 30+ times but it finally worked. Thank you to everyone who helped. And Zed, the avatar itself is amazing, thanks for all your hard work. P.S. Can I get a Belgian Malinois next?

Do that and release? It just hides (or shows) the shadow. This is my next stop. No one in either Realistek group has offered any clue. There is no other place to click on the avatar except the ears (which them flop for 10 seconds or so) or the genitalia which brings down a three item menu (texture, rings, sounds). I have tried face, body, nose, legs, tail, etc etc etc. Have tried the click and hold pattern as well ... nothing. And I have been here off and on for about 5 years, and run other animal/feral/beast types avatars without issue, I've just run out of tricks trying to figure this one out. May wind up just going with a TWI Wolf (with their really cool HUD), and a modified shape from one of the skin places for dog breeds.

TL,DR ... how do you change the eye color on this avatar????? So, not new to SL but my alt canine avatar has an issue. I went with the Realistek Mesh Dog avatar for a number of reasons, among them to stick to one breed (grey husky), and the fact that I really liked the look of the avatar. Could have gone with TWI (I have deer, wolf, and lion under another account) but whatever. It's done now. According to the extensive notecard provided ... Cool. Clicking or double clicking on the shadow though simply .. guess what .. shows and hides the shadow. Now the next part is NOT A JAB at the talented Zed, the developer of the Realistek line but when I asked him about this he said "No, clicking the shadow hides and shows the shadow" (yes, I can see that!) and suggested clicking "some other part" of the dog's shape to get the menu up. Now, if he doesn't know how to do it, I'm not sure who might. So I'm crowd-sourcing my question ... Has anyone ever managed to change the eye color of their Realistek Mesh Dog and if so, how????? This old husky needs blue eyes Thanks.
