  1. Thanks for the answers. I can list the event, the difficulty is place.
  2. Hi I am hosting two live singers at a roleplay sim tomorrow. I want to create an event, however I do not own a parcel at the sim where the event is scheduled. This is because the event is at my bistro (which I am renting from sim owner) but is in the air and doesn't have a parcel. I have spent a lot of money on these singers, and I would like to open the event to wider SL community. Please help Thanks Jennifer
  3. Hi there, I need an interior designer/decorator for my home. Please contact me in world if you are interested (katiapfurtscheller) Thanks Jen
  4. I can understand the need to deter "I've changed my mind" type actions. You're right, a fee does ensure only the committed move. But the price is still disproportionate - it's $216 by today's rate. For something I guess costs them close to $0.
  5. I've been informed recently that if I purchase a sim, the cost to move it to an existing region is 50,000 lindens This seems really high. And I don't understand why they would charge 200USD for a simple move. What is the actual cost? 5 minutes of a Linden's time? Extortionate, or am I way off base?
  6. Hi all, I have several vehicles (ambulance, fire truck, police cruiser), and buildings (downtown building, a couple of onsu houses, etc.) that I bought for a sim I was starting. As I am no longer involved in the sim, and have no use for these items, if anybody would like them (for free), please contact me inworld (katiapfurtscheller). Thanks, Jen
  7. My congratulations to Linden Labs on securing investment from JP Morgan. Undoubtedly, this is a vote of confidence in the Second Life virtual world. It should give us all confidence. Well done to Linden Labs management and staff for their hard work not just in this investment, but in creating a great platform for us all 🥳
  8. Hi all, I'm quitting Second Life after five years. Over the past year I have accumulated an extensive range of medical equipment, enough for anybody to fill a full-service hospital. If anybody would like the equipment, please IM me in world katiapfurtscheller Thanks, Jen
  9. Every dead body on Mt. Everest was once a highly motivated person.
  10. Hello all, Can anyone provide a recommendation for sims that combine active roleplay with strong community? I'm ideally looking for a sim where people get to know one another through voice chat. I've considered New Haven, but it seems rather big and impersonal. I really would appreciate your recommendations. Thanks, September.
  11. Now I logged off again, for about 20 minutes and BAAAM ...another bot. Again 7 months old. Never when I am online. Only when I go off. Are they tracking me?
  12. Interestingly, the dead Jenny bot showed up on a sim I was banned for - and yup I was being blamed on being her!!
  13. I spoke to somebody a few months ago and they claimed to have tracked some of these bots (the dead Jenny one) to a location. And apparently, there were hundreds of them in the one place. I wish I remembered her name.
  14. Hey folks, Every since I have started renting parcels and sims in Second Life I notice that at least half a dozen times daily a bot turns up on my land. What I find bizarre is that 90% of them are seven months old, which suggests they were created in May 2021. Almost every bot is seven months old. The most chilling one is a person called Dead Jenny, which kind of freaks me out because my name is Jennifer. Also, the bots never show up when I am on sim. Yesterday, I tested it - I logged off for 30 minutes and when I came back one seven month old bot had been ejected. Any thoughts on what is going on here? Jen

  16. Make Cedarbrook Creek your winter haven from the trials and tribulations of life this Winter. This up and coming sim is sure to be one of the hot destinations over the coming month, designed by Chris.Vortex and Anna.Starlight. The design and decoration of the sim is amazing. With a very careful eye to design and aesthetics, the Blackwolfes have truly created a marvellous estate. The houses are large, beautifully landscaped Onsu designs with generous prim allowances and reasonable prices. The owner's attention to detail is legendary. The sim boasts a medical centre, large fire station, modern police department, civil services depot, shops, arcades, diner, outdoor movie studio, and much much more. At Cedarbrook Creek, you can expect a warm and loving community with a customer service-oriented management team. They are professional sim owners and managers, so if you are looking for a new home and community, I highly recommend Cedarbrook Creek. Contact Chris.Vortex or Anna.Starlight inworld for landmark and opening date. Thanks, Jennifer
  17. What I meant was I don't know whether it is on the mainland. It's Miriam Green (48,160).
  18. I have no idea where the land is. I'm closing my account in 30 minutes, so if nobody wants to claim it, I'll abandon it.
  19. Hi, I'm Jennifer. I have land that I am not using anymore. I'm literally just logging in and standing on my land everyday. I have two weeks remaining, and it is 3000+ prims. Contact me if you would like the land (for free). I will transfer to the first person who contacts me. katiapfurtscheller
  20. Let me tell you about these people. They had been banned from a sim I loved in January 2021. For nothing, due to a personal disagreement. Now, normally you might say, a banning is nothing. But this was my main source of interaction during a time in which a family member was extremely ill. During the middle of winter in the middle of a pandemic. My only source of joy, my only source of companionship; and they took that away.
