  1. So I have no Media sound and this seems to have possibly started after an update from Microsoft. 🤔

I checked and added and re-added SLplugins , SLvoice, Dullahan_host and Firestorm through the Firewall.😒

I checked to make sure it was not just the viewer so I, did a full clean and an update of the Firestorm Viewer to the latest update.😒

I installed the Official 2nd Life Viewer to make sure it was not just a viewer issue.😒

I checked and reapplied the Media Viewer to be allowed to play..😒

I checked the Volume and my Headset and they are good.😒

I can hear gestures, sounds from everything but the Media side of things.😒

I can see the Media player working but No Sound. 😒

I ran Firestorm through Administration properties. 😒

I even added SLpluggins, SL Voice and Dullahan_host to the antivirus.😒

At this point I am not sure where to go from here and there is not many posts on this subject it seems.

  2. Unable to log into Second Life due to an internal error.

I am guessing this issue is still a problem with Second Life's Server issues since the latest update of Firestorm ?.

I was able to log in yesterday with no issues tho today seem's to be a problem, must be Linden Labs..... 🤦‍♂️

Current Status : Unable to Log into Home or Last Location, which in turn results in the message " Unable to log into Second Life due to an internal error ".

The only resolve I can see from this is being patient and waiting.

  3. Its a Vivrox issue I, am currently dealing with that same problem right now.
You'll have voice eventually again even after a relog and it will be gone again.
There is not much you can really do about it I, have not even updated to the newest version of Firestorm yet.
Changing somethings will help but you'll probably end back up at square 1 till they fix the issue itself especially "after you log off".

Discord & other voice platforms are a suggestion as an alternative to Second Lifes voice server called Vivrox.
In my opinion it sucks but it is better than nothing at all.

If they fix the issue it could take a week maybe less not everyone is effected I, assume that is cause not everyone is on the same Vivrox Server.

  4. I have been able to reacquire voice up to 4 x I, am however not using Linux. I lost voice and my dot over my head on Dec 30th.

I have spent over 6 plus hours messing with this isue.

    # 1. Attempt as follows go to a firestorm sandbox ---- > http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Firestorm Sandbox/157/126/2702

    # 2. Avatar > Prefrences > Sound & Media > Sounds > Output Device > May have to change to either " Default " or Whatever your headset is as listed. Example " Turtle Beach".

    # 3. Avatar > Preferences > Sound & Media > Voice > Audo Device Settings >  Input & Output > May need to change to either Default or Whatever your headset is as listed. Example " Turtle Beach".

    #4. Avatar > Preferences > Sound & Media > Voice > Enable Voice

    # 5 . Solution # 2 and # 3 will have to be done either way by swapping Default to Headset or back again.

I have been able reverify this solution twice so far today and I, do get voice back.

Theory -------> Output Device Bugged ?.
    Theory -------> Vivrox Issue ?.

All Errors that I, have noticed are all Vivrox Error Coding.

Please verify if solution has worked for you.

Note # Temporary Fix, may have to re-repeat the solution.

  5. Check your inbound Rules on your firewall..... ------> Dullahan_Host <---- Could be disabled -----> Enable it.
I think I, just solved my issue.

You should have the following files excluded in your firewall:

    •
    • firestorm-release64.exe (or firestorm-release.exe)
    • slplugin.exe
    • slvoice.exe
    • dullahan_host.exe

Welp Nevermind.. so much for celebrating....
Soon as I, logged out of SL and Back in again... Nadda.
I can see why people use Discord.
  6. I am selling my property on " The Bay of Leif ".
The property is a corner property that I, had bought for me and my X.
    The property is 2560 m
You can drop a boat as you will have access to the Blake Sea.
I no longer have any more need for this land for just myself.
I am asking at this moment for $65,000 Lindens tho I, will entertain any other offers.

  7. So quick few questions... I am on the fence about going premium...

    #1.
If and when I go premium I, know I, can buy land.
The question is do I, have to take the land Linden Labs gives me in the beginning  ?. or can I, just abandon or sell it ?.

    #2
How long does it take if I abandon land before I, can purchase new land ?.

    #3.

If I decide to end my premium account how do I, keep from getting billed ?
As far as I have read it says I, need to abandon or sell the land and clear it of what I, own.

    #4.
How long do they keep billing you for once you decide to cancel ?.

Any help would be appreciated :).

  8. @Lillith HapmoucheI am only trying to help the OP above.
If you'd take time to test to see how it really changes your FPS in heavy trafficed areas, you might just tell the difference.
10 FPS is just a guess depending on the type of populated area you are in. When I, am in London SOHO instead of running at 7 or so I am running at 15 fps or more and it is heavily trafficed. Out in Linden Realms I, used to get 20 or so FPS now I, get 100 to 50 FPS...

    • Open your Windows start menu.
    • In the Search, Find, or Run window at the bottom, type CMD and hit Enter. (A command prompt window will open - note the folder it opens in)
    • Type the following, following each line by hitting Enter:
      ping -n 10 login.agni.lindenlab.com > ping.txt
      tracert login.agni.lindenlab.com > trace.txt
    • Wait about ten minutes for the tracert to finish, then type: exit.
    • Open My Computer, navigate to the folder that the command prompt window used, and attach the files ping.txt and trace.txt to your reply.

I look forward to your response!

---------------> Thank you for the update! It may be related to the bug report then, but improving your home network is always a good move. Our engineers are still reviewing  data collected from prior reports so we hope to have the teleport crashing issue resolved soon - although no ETA is forthcoming yet. <--------------

Disconnecting issue is a well known issue by Linden Labs...

Run a tracert to tracert login.agni.lindenlab.com
Check to see if their is anything showing :  *    *    *  server timed out.
Check the NIC - Network Interface Card it should ping ms @ 1 ms.
Check the Router - More than likely not the problem.
Follow the Route - Use WhoIs and jot down the IP Address.
Check your Packet Loss as well for best results 0% packet loss.

  10. Avatar > Preferences > Graphics > General > Shaders > Transparent Water <----- Uncheck...  You should notice an improvement in AMD frame rates in seconds to minutes.

Running on AMD as well, once you do this your frame rates in heavy populated areas should jump by 10 fps maybe more.

Your machine is definitely not the problem to begin with.

After trying that then go to " Draw Distance "  reduce it to where you feel it is acceptable and your fps improve but try the first solution.

Something about every SIM has water underneath it, even if it is tiled over by something like Land for example.

    Good Luck

  11. Yes that is a sign of you are about to be or have lost connection.

You can use the (Shift Key) + if your keyboard enabled the (WASD) keys and you should be able to move again.

However you will need to reboot the game / life sim , whatever you want to call it to move normally. " Camera View " might be off during (Shift + Key) movements.

Try " Avatar " > Avatar Health > Stop Avatar Animations that might allow you to move again.

  12. I would try this test first given to me by Vix Linden..

Note : You can stop the command prompt test by pressing Cntrl + C

I am also still dealing with this issue still and have just replaced my gateway / modem and that was not the issue. Do not always believe your system is the problem.
I still believe it is a Linden Labs issue.

Also verify that your Firewall is allowing your viewer to send and receive information.

Check to verify your packet loss is Zero.
  13. Looking for :
    Starwars - Darth Vader
Sound Clip : We would be honored... if you would join us.

Need's to be loud enough to be heard... Not so quiet it sounds like a mouse squeaking 🤣.
Looking for a " price " and would like a " Demo " before purchase...
May even buy more Gestures down the road if I, like the work.
