  1. So someone who has numerous Premium Plus accounts could in essence claim several prime spots and then pass them on to their friends through the loophole that exists on the land page without said friends even being PP?

Then go on and do it repeatedly in other regions?

Just out of interest, are you the person cloning Cyanide's house, or the one following Bela from place to place? Or both?

I don't know sunnyskyz but they most probably aren't the house decor copier BUT what if they were?  What if I were?  It's not against the Covenant and it's not breaking any rules!  It might be annoying but at the end of the day it's pixel furnishings.  Life is too short for worrying about this type of 💩

  3. Goodness sake, first their creepy and now their being suspected of being a copybot!!

This is wrong. This is another resident who hopefully has no idea their being discussed in such a derogatory way.

  4. Has anyone considered that the person doing the copying could be reading this forum?

Yes, they've copied BUT they've now been referred to as "weird" and "creepy" amongst other things.  This person might just be hopeless at decorating and in admiration of your skills. I think if I was that bothered by something like this I'd send the person an IM and say I was happy they admired my taste instead of outing them on a forum. No one knows what someone is going though.

if you dont already have a nice sakura location, your chances of getting one in the next couple of days are not high. I do have one 512 spot that I sorta like... not my dream but not bad. However I tried for a 1024 as did a few of my friends. All of our experiences have been all 5 rolls are landing other people's Tossers, and they were tossed for a reason. SO I would say it is wise to hold off on Sakura for a few days til the tossers get taken and some more desirable locations make it into the LP

But yourself and your friends are already in possession of MANY desirable locations in almost ALL of the past releases AND now you will be able to sympathise with how the rest of us are continually made to feel when we are left with other peoples tossers!!

I'm sorry to read about the loss of your husband and I'm glad that SL has helped your grieving process. I do find the views beautiful throughout Belli but instead of sitting alone looking at it, I'd like to share it with my husband in an affectionate pose. Not sitting side by side looking like two strangers waiting for a bus.

Surely you can enjoy the views without being in an affectionate pose with your husband?  Can't you just have a cuddle at home before or after?

You're not one of these clingy women who have to be attached to their OH... claiming him as yours by sitting on his lap and letting every other female know he's not available to flirt with are you?

Also in my experience with men in SL putting these poses in public furniture will only lead to them getting sexually aroused.

I say do what you want in your own space but keep the public communal furniture as it is.

Went back and looked at the kitchen @ Anthem. A no-go for me. The curtain below the sink puts the collection firmly into the Country/Shabby Chic style. But when I saw that the price includes only one color of the cabinets, I just got mad.

The Shirley Kitchen also has the option of having a normal cupboard under the sink also if you're not keen on the curtain.

Re the fridge - there's 2 options - one empty fridge with no script and one filled fridge.

I am not sure why you need to ask about that at all? I find the covenant pretty clear on that: "Activities and/or displaying items that could be construed by Linden Lab as political campaigning is not permitted in Bellisseria." It has always been said here multiple times that if we spot something that most likely should not be in Bellisseria, we shall just report it. The tools are there, why not using it? 🤷‍♀️

I asked because there's a BBB stamp terminal there and my thinking was that they'd passed it as within the covenant rules before they'd given the terminal and stamp... and as they have links to the Lindens and Moles it was all deemed as acceptable.

  9. I can please ask why the Bowling Alley got returned yet the Embassy in Dooright remains?  I've landed homes next to it three times now, and today I now notice that they have a Putin figure partly naked in jail upstairs in full view of the neighborhood.  This whole situation is bad enough in real life without having to look at him in Second Life too!

  10. One of my alts got a Newbrooke house close to the an Embassy for Peace (might not be the exact name but you get the gist) and I abandoned as I wasn't keen on the exterior decor and nor did I want to be bothered with ambassadors coming and going and having meetings with their bureaucrats, or the installation of a terminal to stamp passports which would mean more traffic.  Should I have AR'd it as it wasn't in the style of the neighborhood and imo it would have caused disruption?

I was just expressing my opinion, as you said, people are allowed to express their opinions.

Not getting anything back? All premiums get the same perks.

The tone I took from your replies wasn't one of expression but one of telling people off.

"All premiums get the same perks"... the guy whose name is on the BBB Vic land doesn't get the same perks as me!  He's got much, much more!  If this area is "public land" as you earlier stated then why is it just in his name?

The Lindens have said in different occassions (in interviews, etc.) that they would listen to any group of residents that came up with a doable well thought plan and a structure that could serve the community.

The BBB is run by volunteers and they were running a smaller operation that could be scalated before they approached the Lindens. That building and those prims is really public land. I don't see favoritism in there. Anybody who wants to put the same time and work they did can get help from the Lindens.

The reason why there are no more people doing these kinds of things is because most get burnout. People are always suspicious and quick to complain. Complaining is easier than putting in the hours and work necessary to create something for the community.

I am not in the BBB group, I don't have a passport nor I will get one, not my thing, but I think it's a pity that many people who try to do things for the community stop doing them or decide not to do them because after all the hours, the work, the money spent... it usually ends up in drama and accusations from people who just complain without bothering to put in the effort to do something "better" themselves. If you don't like what somebody is doing, do better.

Did someone make you a spokesperson for the Moles & Lindens as you seem to think you have an answer for everything.

People are allowed to have differing opinions and not be happy about something without being scolded for it.

If they want to play bureaucrats that's their choice, but they get rewarded for it... what about the residents who have numerous Linden homes because decorating and landscaping makes them happy, their contributing to the SL economy and yet their not getting anything back.

Interesting thread.  Seems the same ole same ole is going in with these houses.  Back to not reading this forum for another 3 months.

Saying it's "interesting" then saying you're not going to read it anymore is an oxymoron, but your choice.

Given the BBB has opened embassies on each of the continents, events attended by Abnor mole amongst others where the ambassadors were presented with ceremonial  keys etc by the moles you would have to assume this was something considered worthwhile by the lindens. All the BBB have their own standard premium houses.. The headquarters is for the BBB as an association not a special deal for a single person. Whether you choose to join in any of the events or use the travel info etc available at the centre is up to you.

Who chooses these ambassadors?  Genuinely interested in how this all works!

Also if it's "not a special deal for a single person" then why put it in his name, I'm sure there's other ways it could have been worked but right now this looks like favoritism.

  15. I never liked the use of the word "Bureaucracy" it just makes me think of officials, regulations, and hierarchy... and that's confirmed to me when I look at that victorian in it's own lush surrounding with all these extra prims.  We're all paying the same amount of Premium so why exactly does the owner of the BBB get all this extra on his?  It's his choice to spend his SL time playing at being a bureaucrat.
