MOVE! is another one ... they have loads.  And there is a Japanese  brand (Aketo..?) can't quite remember the name, which are very good, but pricey.

And this ... this is exactly what I do.   Someone recently gave me a dance hud which is copy/mod/transfer & full of dances.  HMU inworld & I'll give you a copy.

    Please! I'd love a copy!

Thank you. Very platonic. But.. the dancing is sorta lifeless, a lot of walking back and forth robotically. Kinda reminds me of how sims dance. If I can't find something better I'll look for these chillout dances. Gonna look at what else Vista has to offer.

You could make a post in the Wanted section, but this sounds like something that could be pricey.

Before you do that though:  I have some swing dances and a few other platonic ones in my inventory - not inworld right now, so I'm not sure from where.  Thus there are (or were) those types of dances available to buy.  I haven't bought dances in quite a while, but I can definitely check my inventory when I log in a bit later and send you a list.

I would greatly appreciate it if you'd do that. Please be sure to include the company/creator/s.

Any furniture rated PG would have non sexual animations.  Most creators make both PG and Adult versions.  You could try turning off Adult in Marketplace and searching animations.  If you set it to General only, you won't get any sex.  Just a thought.

I’ll try that. I completely forgot that I had adult on.

I tried it and it worked! ..mostly. I still want people to suggest me poses and animations though, cuz now what I’m running into are supermodel/photography poses. It’s also hard to find good gestures that aren’t just a sound effect.

  5. I’d like a pose with arms folded. Can be a relaxed pose or in annoyance.

I would like a laughter animation.

I’d like you guys to tell me about all kinds of poses, animations, and gestures that come with animations. Fun ones. Your favorite ones. I’m not picky, they just have to not be sexy ones. For example, my current favorite gesture is Y E E T! which flings you’re avatar across the floor. Throw it all at me guys. Take a look at your folders in-world and tell me your favorites or tell me of good stores. I am looking to express myself.

Versov has Comfov socks that are highly customizable in color and in style (anything from ankle sock to just below the knee), however the hud has a bit of learning curve at least for me. Hiemal also has flat foot socks. Not sure if its still set up like this, but basically you hold on to the demo of the mesh sock and purchase a hud for different textures. Sakura has some socks at the newest Access event as well. I own 2 of 3 of these, and the tighest fitting ones I think are the Versov.

When I got the demo and bought textures for hiemel the pink logo on the leg remained. Too bad because they were the next fitting socks I’ve found. I’ll check out the first socks you suggested. Thanks!

That might explain why other people may not hear you, if ever that would be a problem. They muted your Voice sound so they won't hear themselves echo through your speakers.

Always use a headset when using Voice, folks.

I don't know if they could hear me. I'd been meaning to ask them. But they could hear me last week when I used the mic. Then again, last week I could hear them too.

Sadly, OS updates do tend to break things - especially on Windows (assuming that's the OS you're using).

An odd sounding suggestion: Try specifying the Input and Output device for Voice from within Second Life's Preferences. At one point I had to do something similar on Linux to prevent device swapping from breaking Voice and I recall the same happening years ago on Windows.

I say "odd" because it can sometimes work even if you're not swapping audio devices.

Thanks. Okay, I specified the speakers as my output device. I'll need to test voice-hearing with a friend later.

My audio was otherwise fine last night; I could hear the local sound-effects.. I just couldn't hear my friends

Your initial post stated that you could hear yourself for a moment and then silence. My own response pointed out that this should not happen which ought to have told you that you have a borked setting somewhere.

You were also given a potential bit of direct help by another User.

We are not Technical Support and do not have to put up with the snark nor are we obligated to present information to you that fits your definition of "helpful" - Make absolutely certain that all of your permissions and setting are correct for your OS/Version of the Second Life Viewer before grousing. If it worked in the past and does not work now, check to make sure no settings have changed. If it worked prior to an update to your OS and does not work now then something in the update has caused a problem.

With the rather generic information you have given out (as well as potentially superfluous information) even the most helpful of Users here simply cannot help you beyond generic responses.

My settings in preferences look fine. What should I look for? I hope the recent update didn't ruin things for me.

  10. Last night I attended a get-together where voice was enabled and I was being told that people were talking but all I heard was silence. I have voice set to 100% volume in my audio settings. I would hear a few seconds of the people there talking to eachother upon first logging in or teleporting in but after that all silence. Why can't I hear voices? I hear the music and background sounds just fine but not my friends talking.

Malls were always an awful concept.

I highly doubt that. Both communities are unlikely to share a huge overlap and Minecraft has been around for years.

I personally like malls. It’s a way to find things I may not otherwise have found and sometimes people who can’t afford to have their own land rent a spot in a mall instead.
