  1. Thank you for the answers. I will still go for it.
  2. If I upgrade to premium and purchase a name change, will my new name be reflected here if I do not login? I read from some posters here that their names were not updated until they logged out and signed back into the forum. I am planning to go premium to get a last name but do not want people outside SL viewer knowing my new name for reasons I cannot disclose.
  3. sorry noob question, care to enlighten us how to do this? thanks
  4. Interesting responses. On social media and in-world group chats most people pick door #1 or #2 and rarely door #3 but here a lot of people choose #3 hmmm As for me, honestly, none. I like my real life and second life separately.
  5. Saw this on Instagram Door #1: Bring all your SecondLife wardrobe to your real life Door #2: Bring all your SecondLife homes, furniture, and decor to your real life Door #3: Swap head, body, shape, skin, and hair with your avatar Which door would you choose and why?
  6. cancel culture and the idea that “toxic” has become an all-around word to describe anyone you dislike for whatever reason
  7. Try Burrow Cafe. Chill and laidback place to make new friends. People do talk a lot and engage in conversations there both on local chat and IMs.

  9. if you are getting KUPRA, just get the original and go easy on the bewb sliders because the KUPRA KUPS still has disproportionately less clothing rigged for it :-/
  10. Not sure if bordering on caricature, but I intentionally made my avatar obese because I am roleplaying “that fat Korean girl.” Think of my avatar like Gwyneth Paltrow in Shallow Hal but Korean-American. Now I was not joking when I told the last guy I dated that I could swallow him whole and still have room for fries. Burp! On a less self-deprecating note, my SL became more interesting and enjoyable when I purposefully deviated from what was considered conventionally beautiful in the pixel universe. Besides, I am a hot supermodel in real life so I must hide who I am in this fat suit!
  11. I learned this the hard way. This is why I have a “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy and the only thing that I divulge, and is consistent between both lives, is my timezone. It is the only thing outside SL that I believe affects my experiences in-world. Nobody has the right to know anything else. I am who I present to be, and you ARE who you present to be: representatives of characters whose life stories are authentic and legitimate in SecondLife but never in Real Life, if that makes sense. So keep it that way, please. If someone hounds me with questions about the person behind my avi, I reserve the right to lie. Not really sure what kind of trophy or validation the OP was seeking here. Same with RL pics. Do you know how vile and disturbing it is while in the throes of kinky unrestrained passion with an avatar who looks like Keanu Reeves, then its puppeteer goes on voice and shares a picture of themselves to reveal that they are not Keanu Reeves but Ralph Fiennes... as Voldemort! And their moaning sounds like someone hit Mickey Mouse in the balls! Que horror! Now don’t ask me for mine, I can’t bear being discovered and unpartnered with just because I am an overweight middle-aged truck driver from Placer County. C’mon, it was our avatars who were inseparable and madly in love! I can’t raise this Zooby alone!!!
  12. Took some time for me to get used to it but now I have no regrets it IS the body for me!!!
  13. OK so necro-thread, yeah IKR but in case someone is looking for one in this day and age, there is a box of free dancers at KoTA that includes GWIYOMI and other K-Pop dancers
  14. Hi, everyone! Not sure if this is the right section to post this question: Does anyone know where I can buy the chandelier in this set? I just saw this from an IG post.
  15. oh, same same my AV is inspired by kpop idols and I seem to attract and be drawn to other avis who have a similar look I am fairly new (2 months) but my small circle is made up of mostly kpop fans and other like-minded koreaboos lol not gonna lie, but I tend to avoid avis who are non-mesh or non-human no matter how nice and friendly they seem
  16. Sorry to dig up an old thread, is this place still active? My BFF and I are both Koreaboos and would love to live in a Korean or K-Pop themed community sim.
  17. Living here with my BFF. We are both only a couple of months old but we are already loving it here! The rentals are sooo affordable even for newbies, and the entire neighborhood is actually quite lovely. Looking forward to making new friends!
