    My personal recommendation if the Timber Wilds Wildcat: https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/TWI-Wildcat-Avatar/24303908 TWI has been making animal avatars for years and it really shows. Quality mesh, tons of actions and features, beautiful anims and very easy to customize!

    If this ends up being good I may invest in a tablet specifically for it. [And FF7 Ever Crisis lol!] I've got chronic illness so some days I'm stuck in bed, head on the pillow. Having a more mobile/portable way to play SL, especially on days where I'm limited to laying down, would be a dream come true.

    Welcome fellow IMVU refugee! I moved here from IMVU over 16 years ago, isn't that wild? SL's a whole different beast, but it has so so much more freedom. Enjoy exploring, and don't be afraid to ask for help should you need it! I like to think most of us Residents are pretty friendly.

    Oh that's disappointing...I always appreciated how realistically proportioned the Piggu bods were. ;~;

    I just want a body that looks like mine, is all. It's frustrating to see the same bimbo/fetish bodies get made over and over again when there's still no options for a heavier body that isn't blatant fetish material. I've been tempted to try Piggu's bodies but they're a little on the older side, and I don't know how well they'd work for an anthro av. Not to mention the lack of third party love for them.

    I highly recommend Teegle. There are many many breeds to choose from now, including fantasy breeds. And the aftermarket is huge. There is basically no limit to what you can make your horse look like these days, it's a ton of fun! Mesh and anims are gorgeous, they control well and can be ridden either rezzed or attached. Lots of little bells and whistles besides that too. Not to mention the size of the community, which is very friendly and often hosts a huge range of events-- Dressage, Western, breed clubs, etc. You can always pop by the Teegle sim and demo the horses before you buy, too!

    The Cerberus Hellcat just hit Abnormality yesterday and I'm majorly in love with it. Gorgeous mesh and animations, and it was an absolute breeze to texture into my leopard character! Skin needs a few touch-ups still but I'm really pleased with it as a first pass.

    Man, folks in SL love fat booties but hate fat bodies huh. :T I'm personally waiting for ANIMA's body line, they'll be releasing a pair of proper chubby bodies alongside the usual thin, muscular, and average builds. Hoping they'll be good!

    You may have Voice gestures activated for another head or avatar that are interfering. Make sure the only Voice gestures you have active are for the av you're using.

    Heyooo! I'm decorating my old Nuko av for fun, and realized I never found a nice, round, Japanese cat collar for him! I've dug around on the MP from time to time but no amount of keyword combinations are locating what I'm looking for! Something like this is all I need! Greatly appreciate any help in locating that kind of collar or anything similar. Cat tax!

    SL helps me spiritually by allowing me to exist and interact w/ others as a truer version of myself. It helps with meditation, introspection, and visualization. It was also integral to me discovering that I was transgender, and in helping me out of the closet with that. Not to mention the lifelong friends I've met through it! Very thankful for this wacky, janky bunch of pixels that we call home. ^^ Minor Edit: Going through and reading everyone's posts has me so teary-eyed! I've been here 16yrs and SL is so so dear to me, it really moves me to see that it has helped others so much. ❤️

    I do find these meipon machines to be less "fun" but I've also noticed I've not spent as much past my usual "fun" budget on SL as I used to when gacha events were around. So that's nice lol! Meipon is almost like...a group game? The more people interested in the items and buying, the more frequently the machine rolls over to a new item, the quicker you get the item you want! [If you're fast enough, I guess!

    Who's excited? Grifters looking forward to scamming even more people out of their money, I imagine. 🤪 There isn't a single person in any of my online or RL spaces who gives a hot damn about crypto stuff beyond hating on it for being wasteful, a scam, etc. Grifting sorts aren't the kind of people SL tends to attract, usually, which is why I imagine we've been "left out" of such discussions. Annoying as it is that everyone is saying metaverse this and metaverse that w/o including us, I'm kinda happy about it. Even when Philip went on CNN the other day to talk metaverse things and SL he very pointedly avoided any of the usual crypto buzzwords, instead focusing on what a true metaverse should be, the challenges in moderating such a space, and how he plans to continue taking SL in that dreamy direction. It was a huge relief to see and very refreshing.

    I've been wearing Rocky a lot lately! Just updated his mining outfit today with a new harness and helmet. The harness clips his fluff a bit but I don't mind, it's rigged nicer than his old one. Got some jewelry on him last night too. Dressing up animal avs is a challenge, but a fun one.

    I'm a feral critter that loves to just wander beautiful forests, jungles, canyons, and more. [And take lots of pics!] But lately I've had a hard time finding new places to explore that aren't painfully human-oriented with lots of buildings and camps and the like. I just want untamed wilds! I know most of the big places, like the Calas sims, and recently discovered Four Bridges. But I wanna know if there are any places SL Search is keeping from me. Share your favorites with me! I really appreciate it!

    I had this error last night on the MP page itself. No clue what caused it, but going back to the "Manage Listings" page and just toggling the listing active from there [clicking the checkmark] got around it for me.

    Sega is significantly more lax about fanworks than Disney. Companies like Disney and Nintendo regularly send mass requests to LL to remove infringing material on the Marketplace. RIP my DK Dragon Charizard-inspired skin.

    Definitely something I'm going to work harder on! More and more I do things from scratch, rather than stitching scripts together, and that definitely helps lol! All is working as intended now! Thanks a ton, both of you.
