The answer to your question is very simple, there's no need to talk about gatekeeping gamers or whatever. 1. Simply right-click your desktop and select "Nvidia Control Panel" 2. Select a Task: "Manage 3d Settings" 3. You have 2 options here, you can select: Preferred graphics processor: "High-Performance Nvidia processor" and it will use that processor for ALL your programs.
