  1. 🤣 Brilliant...breedable clothes...now you can breed the rares, to hell with gacha 😂
  2. However offensive you intend to be about customers on a budget like myself there are a lot of us in SL, helping to contribute to the economy. Sellers who only aim to sell to those with deep pockets are cutting off their noses to spite their faces. I am sure you are currently feeling very smug about your purchasing power, good for you. No reason to be patronising to lots of people like me. By the way I have a job in SL.
  3. 'the customer is always wrong' hmmm great selling tactic. No matter how you argue it, there are a lot of customers like me, who have no interest in the fatpacks. They may buy one, or two or three, but 1800 is a crazy amount for something that is not a necessity. Patronising customers like me is not a great look.
  4. I got my lovely flying dragon from one pull of a 50L gacha, I didn't care what colour it was I just wanted ONE. I am on a budget. How on god's green earth is paying 1800L (even if I can afford it lol) a win for consumers like me? Sure creators can sell fatpacks. I am betting they will sell FAR LESS.
  5. I for one am sad that a source of cheap but well made and imaginative product will now vanish. I occasionally use gachas but can count less than the fingers of one hand the times I pumped lindens into a gacha to get a specific thing. There are lots of lovely gachas out there where I am happy to get pretty much anything it sells so one pull results in a lovely item for 50L or thereabouts. I have a lovely baby dragon flying companion. I didnt care on the colour so it only cost me 50L. As someone on a budget I will mourn the loss of these wonderful bargains. I cannot see creators pricing down their vendors to the same cost as a pull of the gacha. It's sad, so bite me.
  6. @Patch Linden Thank you Patch for opening the thread again. I think we would very much benefit from LL giving a view on Breedables in light of this development. While it affects breedables content to varying degrees depending on product there ARE similarities in some areas (like the randomness of traits when buying starter packs). I do not think knowing all traits up front is reasonable, even Nature throws out genetic variants. Can Linden Labs please update us on what will and won't be allowed regarding breedables in future. The silence given the amount of discussion here is starting to worry me.
  7. @Patch Linden Is this going to end up impacting Breedables? That also has the element of paying for something with an element of chance involved.
