I love this way of living myself! It can be difficult to find these types of communities in SL, but if you look hard enough they are definitely out there. Glad to see we are coming together here on the forums!

I started playing SL in my 20's but I am in my 40's now! I can't believe I've lived in two decades of a virtual world. haha. Glad to see there's lots of us 40-somethings wandering about!

I wanted to share one of my most favourite places in Second Life; Majilis al Jinn on the Sands of Time sim. This is a spectacular build. Every time I visit the sim I discover new hideouts and hangout areas. The attention to detail, style, and overall architecture are just breathtaking. I highly recommend that everyone check it out at some point if you haven't come across it already. It's particularly wonderful for those who like to take photos. You will find heaps of places to use as a beautiful backdrop for your shots. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Hey everyone! I am super new to the forums. I've never really tried them before. I've been in SL for a long time. I can't even remember how I discovered it. I just started playing more often again recently. I am a Canadian girl! I live with a cat & dog. I work full-time as a IT professional. I'm close with my family, have a great bunch of friends, both in RL and SL! I'm never bored. Want to know my personality type? It's INFP, for what it's worth! haha.

In SL I am a Grey Elf / Faun hybrid. I am just starting up my own roleplaying community. It's something I've never done before in SL, so I thought I'd give it a go. I'm really hopeful that it takes off. I love to landscape, decorate, create unique things from full perm templates made by other awesome creators in SL, explore, check out music events, and so much more!

Hi friends! I wanted to let everyone know that I have opened a new community in SL called Reverie Retreat situated on the island of Woven. Reverie Retreat is an adults-only, serene fantasy living experience. The community is intended for light fantasy roleplay. The island features home rentals, a luxury outdoor spa and lounge, music and spoken word events, games, and fishing tournaments.

I have 11 fully-landscaped and some furnished homes for rent at the time of writing this post. Please see photos below.
