  1. There are literally hundreds and hundreds of SL based groups on Flickr. If I were to join more groups other than the official one by LL, which would be the good ones to go for? Any recommendations?
  2. Chroma, If you want people to be your BFF, then be the kind of BFF people want to be around; that would be a good start. Why people ghost and how to get over it: https://www.nytimes.com/2019/01/22/smarter-living/why-people-ghost-and-how-to-get-over-it.html
  3. I am half-tempted to get this body. It looks the most natural one to date.
  4. People who are easily fooled by impersonators if they opt to not show usernames in their settings. Imposters could put in an existing username of any resident as their display name and those idiots wouldn't know who they're really talking to. Gullible people... are they fking kidding me?!
  5. I see nothing naughty here. Flickr is whack.
  6. Wear the Maitreya feet instead of Slink. If you use the applier for Maitreya, the scripting will not read Slink attachments.
  7. There are a few stores offering group gifts with free group join. Cheap & Chic: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Flying Fortress/180/95/1039 LAQ: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/LAQ/110/132/76 Lumae: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Starry Night/248/25/1252 Wow Skins group is not a free join but they do have lucky boards that are no group needed: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Longwood/79/160/29 They also have free skins in the same room with specific group tag activated. You can find the group join signs above the specific gifts. And if you look in another corner, there are a couple more free skins you can pick up.
  8. It sounds like parts of your avatar failed to rezz for whatever reason. A quick fix is to put on another avatar from "Choose an Avatar" from the Avatar pull-down menu.
  9. Do you mean a canine like this? https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/The-Darkness-Hybriderian-Werewolf-The-First-Generation-Lycan/2675134 Or ones like these? https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Zoobys-Mesh-Yellow-Lab-Avatar-Dog/3018873 https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/39964 https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/202494
  10. That can be annoying. I have learned long ago that not all skins are created equal or even one-size-fits-all. I am grateful that demos are a thing.
  11. Not Found has some skins for Catwa. The store name may be a bit hard to find in search, so search for the creator, Julio Voxel. I agree with Rowan on avoiding Aesthetic. There are hardly any skins made for it and good clothes are hard to come by for it. You'd be better off with Gianni.
  12. Option 1: Got demo? Yep, it's always good to try before you buy. They say it fits Maitreya sized clothes and shoes, so I suggest you pick up demos for clothes that looks appealing and try them out with the body. Option 2: Got demo? Yes, ok, good. They say it can fit Slink sized shoes, but no word on what clothes it will fit. Better pick up some clothing demos to see how they'll work with the demo body. Option 3: Got demo? No. No? L$1,250 is a huge chuck of change to gamble on the possibility of you even liking the head. Remember this mantra, "No demo, no buy." I would skip this one and look for other brands that do offer demos for their heads. Such stores are Catwa, Lelutka, Slink, Logo, Akeruka, and GA.EG.
  13. She is fantastic. I almost posted one of Torley's old videos when I found Strawberry's. I'm glad she's here to pick up the mantle.
