I just downloaded the sl viewer again and so far it has not crashed me when camming. Just have to get use to the viewer.

ty all for your help. it sucks that my system worked really well before the update and not it is struggling. the vsync seems to be allowing me to pan around and it takes a lot more to make me crash. once again ty all for the help. I'll suffer through it til I get something newer/better.

yes it was a forced update i could not log in unless i updated fs. freeze/crash happened on sl viewer as well. can it possibly be my inventory? I did clear inventory cache. It takes a lot more to freeze crash on my alt that has far less inventory. I have done all the updates on the intel graphics side and also needed updates on the dell side. I will read that wiki link.

my system worked really nice before the updates... so is my graphic card not compatible with firestorm now? also alts seem to take much more to freeze up when camming than my main account. the vsync seems to be working so far with all my settings lowered.

I had 3 changes happen around same time right before the issue started. I updated my WINDOWS, was forced to update FIRESTORM, and had a region restart. From what I have read, the most likely possibility has to do with my graphic card. I am freezing and crashing now in all regions when I cam and even sometimes when I've done nothing. I am thinking with the changes, now my graphic card among other things are outdated. When I installed firestorm after doing a recovery, I received errors saying that i was missing a few different things that i downloaded from microsoft. MsSVCP140.dll and vcruntime140.dll

I have read numerous previous threads on similar situation and have tried the suggestions but things are getting worse it seems. I did a firestorm update and windows update prior to having the issue. Whenever i begin to cam around i freeze and crash. I have had this happened only one other time at a store and the only thing that helped was to lower my graphic settings to the lowest possible setting. I am having the same issue on my own sim and just lowering my graphic settings is not enough. I did a few suggegstions.. I unchecked object occlusion and that seemingly helped, but for some reason today I am freezing and crashing without camming. Even when I hover my cursor over my region's landmark in my history, I get the spinning wheel. I have restarted the sim multiple times. cleared caches and also tried other suggestions. Does anyone have any other suggestions. It happens on the sl viewer as well as firestorm.

I know this is an old thread but it helped me out. Whenever I go to gaming regions, and some other regions, I have an issue where the item will be there and then vanish or if I look away and look back it will be gone. I unchecked DYNAMICALLY ADJUST LEVEL OF DETAIL and now I am not having that issue. Thanks

About a week, or so, ago my left arrow key I use to walk and move around inworld seems to have been hijacked by what is called HOME. HOME is the fly movement. Now, every time I press left while walking, I begin to fly. Press it again and I stop flying. I have went into my preferences and tried changing the control back and I get this message in return.... "Combination Home is reserved by menu." Can anyone suggest a way to revert back to the left arrow key moving my avatar left while walking.

I keep seeing outrageously priced regions for sale and I cant help to wonder is it a joke. it would take over a year to gain any benefit from buying at a ridiculous price. are people really buying gf regions for such an absorbent amount of money?

why wouldn't someone just buy from linden lab? thats not a deal at all. 50,000L is a little less than 200USD plus u want the person to pay teh transfer fee of 100... thats 300USD so far which is about 50USD less... however in 10 days the person turn around and pay the regular tier of 259. so in 10 days time someone will pay over 500USD when they couldve just bought it from Linden lab? am i missing something?

the question about the deck.... it really does not fit into the theme of modern houses. i admire the moles creativity but that deck is not a good idea... most homes like that would have a concrete slab for a patio or something similar... best idea would be to add concrete slabs to the content pack perhaps

i like modern neighborhoods... they would be really nice if most were near water the way many fantasy homes are but if not that, then it would be neatarific if there was a house choice or 2 that came with a pool or some plots have inground pools.. are u accepting applications for builder moles? also.... why the big beautiful windows if theyre not going to be looking out to some nice scenery other than another person's house within a few feet?
