    Yup and corps that keep employees offer reduced childcare and free lunch. Like the MGM Grand is on one of the best places to work list. Other places that don't follow labor laws and enforce kids to work 15 hours a day 7 days a week and live in a tenement usually get shut down by gov't due to riots and become an anarchist region for drug dealers and prostitutes to run around "griefing" people so they then form a caravan to escape and seek employment elsewhere.

    Maybe because sl is overrun by sex ads and strange fetish sims and they just don't see it as a productive way to spend their money. If i was in charge of a university or science foundation and took a quick breeze through the secondlife world i'd probably cut funding on it too. Its up to linden to consider the prospect of their own website. you know, other media (and this is media) has had such issues. They degenerate into like a brothel and then no one uses them anymore. Someone else will make a better one. I think SL has a lot of great potential more than just that, but if they keep cutting real interesting areas due to them not having funding and don't donate some of their profit to allowing interesting and educational operations exist for free, then it will be just that. I mean a non-profit application for a region or partial region. I don't think that would be putting them out much cash. However, I was replying to a fantasy "Us" created in the minds of some people who appear to believe they speak on behalf of all SL users except myself, which simply does not exist as an "Us" except in their mind.

    The fact that the majority of sites is about that and a minority of sites that are actually interesting to a 6 year old, making it over-run with self-loathing masturbators in a fantasy cartoon escape world. Which is sad because its actually a pretty cool platform that could have a lot more uses than that. By "site" I mean area of the internet and app to connect to a server.

    Actually I don't need to listen. If no one in SL supports the Exploratorium but me then I guess it will be shut down. And, just like every other plethora of porno trading hubs that have become plagued with nothing but people talking about pornography and trading it -- like IRC, that and "ads' -- I will likely abandon it. Just like IRC. Yes, I know you don't care and would be happy for that too -- and I also don't care, so at least we agree on that.

    I am replying to belligerence. I don't care if they find it appalling that I think child-sex and animal-sex is a putrid and hideous escape. I really don't care at all if they dislike that about me anymore than they care if I think they're hideous and grotesque with a profound psychological problem that is well beyond me to comprehend nor do I choose to try to comprehend it. I think they are more angry that I said that than anything else -- and if they were proud of themselves and felt righteous they wouldn't feel the need to write a nasty reply. Clearly they are freaked out by their own psychology and are projecting it upon my post -- as an attack, rather than just putting me on ignore as someone they didn't need to read that day Its good -- the truth of themselves shines forth!!
