Is there a way anywhere to stop getting chat notifications about friends logging on and off? Can they be muted?

What app/software program are creators using to make movies in SL and post on YouTube? Thanks

I figured it out... I set the landing spot but then I had to go to world -> set home to here... PLOP!

Teleport routing is set to landing point, which I have reset 3 times even wearing my group. To no avail. Thank you so much for your reply though!

I set the landing point in my Linden Home and did not realize how close to a door it was. I have tried 3 times to change the landing point, unsuccessfully. Yes, I have cleared it and set it each time. I can't land in the new one. What is the trick? Thanks

Not sure.I put up the lights from years ago… LOL but you can tell they repackaged them. They added an abominable snowman and a reindeer… And that was it…

I can’t figure it out either. Not impressed with the gifts this year. They keep giving us the same lights. There were years before when they gave you lots of decorations. Next year you will see the same things… plop!

Thank you. Not that it matters that much to me, I just find it comical that someone could coerce a private account to not post a negative statement about a personal experience as opposed to slandering. But such is SL... My pick stays.

I have been notified that unless I remove my pick about negative experiences in a linden game, I will be banned for defamation. My question is, if the post is based on true experiences, it is not slandering or defamation. Can a game ban players for posting their experiences? Can anyone force SL members to post only what they judge to be favorable to them? Not that it matters much anyway, anyone can keep playing in alters in spite of a misleading "anti alts security" ad. But can anyone require someone else to remove picks from personal profiles? Thanks

Does not always work. I have tried that in some places and the selection goes right through. I end up blocking something behind the particle.

No, I don't want the annoying little junk raining on me everywhere but they have a clever way to make the object not show in area search... Just wondered how I could work around that. How can I reduce the number of particles close to me? I am on Fs. Thank you

Is there a way to block annoying particles in the environment when the object can't be blacklisted because it does not turn up min area search? Just annoying little things popping everywhere...

I did not. I'd think it is pretty intuitive to add names, select done and see them in a confirmation list in chat window. I'll check it though

Posting this again to see if someone answers and I get lucky... I bought a skin file. I am famiuliar with texturizing and coloring the layers. How do you edit the file's properties to look like that? Thank you for your help

I add friends to the "LH Security System" by going to access-> add name. However, they get kicked out within 15 seconds unless I add them to the admin list. I don't want to do that. I also add them to the "LH Homes" access list. Even in both lists, they get kicked out unless I add them to admin list or turn off the security. Can you please help me set it up so that friends can come in but don't get kicked out unless they are added to admin list? Thank you

I have AO and UV files that have helped me create a skin texture. My question now is, how do I upload it to SL and give it that little image skin icon? What format is that? Thank you for your help
