I'm at my wit's end! And FS Support (English) suggested I post here.

I need some help in setting the Environment on my whole region, an island called Faerun; and I'm happy to pay for someone's kind help in-world.
I've read the basic instructions, https://wiki.firestormviewer.org/fs_eep done my best, followed relevant threads here on this Forum, and simply CANNOT get the day-night cycle to work. Or if it works, it hasn't saved when I log back in. It's not the kind of thing I can sort out via this Forum...

I need hand-holding. I'll pay L$1000 if someone who knows what they're doing (I've been in SL 15 years...  suspect I'm missing something very simple!) Someone who can give me step by stop instructions in-world, and stick by me until we get it working.

I have a notecard that specifies my difficulty for anyone who wishes to contact me. I'm in-world every day between 1.30 and 2.30pm SL time; or just drop me an IM (gets repeated to my RL e-mail).

Did you manage to solve your problem?

  2. I think it’s time to upgrade my AO.  My current Vista AO (Zoe) is beginning to annoy me by how much it moves my avatar around.  If any of you have recommendations on AOs you like or use, I’d love to hear them.

This is our Chalet home, it was really nice to decorate but I did struggle a lot. I am very picky with the colors and want to always use colors what blends with each others that much as I can :D Still prims left, so might use more on kitchen.

This looks lovely😍! Especially the garden ☀️🍃💚.  May I ask where you got the pavers from? They look great!

  4. Does anyone know or have any ideas about what that land is above Bachman?  When I click on it there is no information and I can't TP there either...curious...

This is an old thread, but you might find some tips for your new Victorian home

I miss seeing the different home style furnishing threads...was easier to scroll through when looking for things for a certain home type..

  6. I'm quite new to EEP and am seeking some EEP setting recommendations for my land.  Looking for realistic day, sunrise and sunset settings in particular.   Has anyone found a good source for different EEPs that people have created?  Or perhaps you have some settings you would like to share here?  I'm looking forward to play with the settings myself but I'd be keen to see what other people are using.

  7. Hi all, I’m at work so I’m excited to get home and check out how things are going in Bellisseria with this release.  Has any posted pics of the world map showing the new chalet home regions? I’m so curious to see what the map is looking like now...

I hear you Sakura. For me, it was mostly that there was a "stern" look in the eyes of the updated version. I was not able to make the updated head 100% the same, but after a while, I did not notice. From pictures, the free head Lelutka gives away now had a bit rounder/heartshaped look. Have you tried it?

I have picked it up, but I really had not had time to work with the free heads, but they sit nice in my inventory in case there is a great weekend sale skin offer that tempt me to tackle a new look.

The Evolution noses and head shapes look stronger/less delicate than the Origins heads that I liked IMO.  I have spent many hours playing with the two bom heads that I have and I still prefer my old look 🤣.  Well at least I worked out how to make Avi Glam eyes work with the old heads.

It REALLY depends on the head, the maker of the head and the shape of your old head.  I am pretty good with the sliders and had a successful shape shop long ago BUT it took me days to get "Chic" looking anywhere close to old Chic .In that case it was the thin nose that was the problem on a thin face. Today I tacked Lani (the building alt) and while the nose and mouth were super easy I could NOT get close to her face shape.  I doubt I will be able to.   I have seen the same issues with different makers of head.   They are all different and sculpted in different manners and rigged differently. In the case of Letlutka they are apparently not mapped to the standard UV so that can be another issue.

The answer is a resounding MAYBE :D.   If you have already bought your head then you can certainly try.  For those who haven't and really WANT to "recreate" the exact same look, I suggest spending a LOT of time with the demos until you get a shape that is very close.

    Good luck.

I have a tutorial for Lilly here: https://chicatphilsplace.blogspot.com/2020/12/playing-with-lilly-tutorial-of-sorts.html

You can see that I didn't get all that close but I definitely love the HUD on Lilly so will see if I bond with the new Chic. Same with Lani. She looks good but not the same.

Oh that is so helpful.  Thank you, Chic.  There is a softness to the old Lelutka heads that I'm trying to recapture with the new ones that is eluding me.  I thought maybe it was user error xD but after reading what you have tried I think maybe some looks will just not be possible with the new heads.  Thanks for all the information.

  11. I’ve grown quite attached to the shape and look of my avatar.  I’ve been using a Lelutka Origins line head but have recently been experimenting with moving on to BOM as I’ve bought a Lelutka Evolutions head.

I was wondering if it is possible to recreate my original shape on these new types of heads.  I’ve spent many hours playing with shapes and can’t seem to capture my original look.  Any advice would be much appreciated.

I really dislike a bunch of tiny rooms.  It's hard enough to just walk through a door without hitting the door jamb or the door itself by the time I've lined myself up to walk through it.   My issue with doors is a long suffering issue though.  If you pass by a house anywhere is Belli and the front and back door are standing wide open at all times, it is probably one of mine. I will always choose a 1 level home to avoid walking in circles in enclosed stairwells.  As it is, I need to cam up into the ceiling and look down to see an entire room or spin the camera in dizzying circles to see if I like my own decorating.  I MIGHT even try a Trad if they had no interior walls.  I like the use of  half-walls and carpeting or furniture/plants to divide a larger open area.

I feel you! This is me 100% lol! So I also always try to choose the single storey option.  Outdoor living, decks, big windows and open plan rooms make the homes more functional and enjoyable for me.

I am back with an underwater garden with my almost 1 month old houseboat in Fourze.

I was not sure if I would have Li left for this, but I did. I wish LL let us have deeper water.

Does anyone remember how deep the water was in the Stilt houses demo area?

Even more stunning in world at mignight.  I’m surprised there isn’t a community of merfolk under your houseboat now 🤣❤️
