  1. The bottleneck in your system is the GTX 560, especially if it's the 1GB model (it also came with 2GB), not the CPU.
  2. I'd upgrade from that to something newer with at least 4GB of VRAM and I'd be looking at one of the 16xx series cards. 1650 Super or 1660 Super, depending on prices which are still out of whack. You don't need to worry about the RTX cards with an i7-2600, unless you find one super cheap of course.
  3. It’ll run fine. Until Apple drops support for Intel programs. Firestorm has issues with voice, but that’s probably a temporary issue.
  4. Panasonic used the CF-52 name on at least five generations of laptops. That's why there are specs all over the place for it. Not if you have the Toughbook with the specs in the first post. Adding another 4GB of memory won't hurt anything, just get another module like the one that's in it.
  5. No. It’s a 15 year old 1.6GHz Core 2 Duo with Intel graphics. SSD and RAM upgrades aren’t going to make that useful for SL.
  6. That's not new to Monterey. I've seen it before but it's been a long time and I can't remember exactly what caused it and I don't think it was with an SL viewer. I want to say it had something to do with the Mac's clock being way off, but like I said, I don't remember. I get the usual won't open because it can't be scanned unidentified developer message with the current FS viewer, and right-click open bypasses Gatekeeper and lets it run. Same in Monterey 12.4, 12.5 beta and Mojave 10.14.6.
  7. I believe that was Mussolini. German trains always run on time.
  8. He says he'll have the Teslabots ready for production next year so that's plenty of time for the next Mars launch window in 2024. That sounds like a totally plausible timeline to develop Commander Data and work the bugs out of a rocket that has not flown outside of the atmosphere and managed to make one low altitude test flight without exploding.
  9. Second Life and Elon Musk have one thing in common. "Soon..." A perfect fit!
  10. Try the performance viewer. It is amazing for that kind of thing.
  11. It's not. It still has to be voted on by the shareholders and get regulatory approval.
  12. I don't know, I think it's pretty great. Reading and giving in to the temptation to respond to people you don't like gets old and probably isn't healthy.
  13. Abuse reports are for people who are abusive for harassing. Block lists are for jerks.
  14. never mind, I did not think the forum software would let me post that
