    Teach a Community Class at the Bay City Activity Center!

    The Bay City Activity Center is Bay City's place for fun and fellowship. With wellness and enrichment opportunities, a DFS teaching kitchen, fitness center, pool, and more, there's plenty of ways to connect with the community here! 

    We're looking for instructors to hold weekly enrichment classes for 1 hour, on your schedule! Here's some of the classes we're looking to offer: 

    • Sip and Paint or guided painting 
    • Yoga/Mindfulness
    • Cooking
    • HIIT/Fitness
    • Water Fitness

    No experience is necessary to begin- the facility is equipped with the tools you'll need to be a successful instructor! Instructors earn $250L per class, with the ability to hold multiple classes per week.

    Hey all! I'm looking for help organizing a book tour for my first SL book, The Joy of Farming: A DFS Primer.

    I'm hoping to work with a publicist that can assist me in scheduling book-focused events across the grid, in locations where my book can be hosted permanently. I'd love to meet new friends, chat about the process of writing and the book's topics, and share the joy of DFS farming with all. I can offer signed copies of the book to event participants and engage in text or voice events/interviews. 

    Bring with you event planning skills, knowledge of and/or participation in the book and writing community in SL, networking skills, and a personable, outgoing outlook. I'll share my knowledge as I can! I'm looking to start a tour towards the beginning of November (during NaNoWriMo!).

    I've been thinking of creating a space for queens and queer beings! I've been envisioning a ballroom/hangout space where we could do shows, host balls, lol have brunches and bingos...etc. I'd love to chat more about co-creating a safe space that feels good!

So nice to meet you and to have your local pizza shop so conveniently located. :D I can say that since reaching out, I've had an AMAZING time playing around with this innovative idea and have already met cool people by doing deliveries! It's definitely worth it to check it out and see how it can add to your roleplay experience. I hope to see pizza shops all across the grid!

    Hi all! I'm searching for souvenirs or artifacts that can be found in public spaces around Mainland and Bellisseria.

    Have you come across any that you have a link to and/or pic of? 

    I've found treasures from the Lindens in Nautilus, some in the Blake Sea, and Linden Bears all around- anything like this found in Bellisseria?

    Some recent Land auctions

    I watch the auctions but honestly don't participate, because I always lose. 😅

    I've been outbid at the last possible second so many times that it's discouraging, and typically (as was mentioned) by vast amounts that I'd never purchase land for. 

    I feel like this keeps people who are not within SL real estate circles (or who refuse to pay over 10L/sq m like me)  from getting accessible parcels for a reasonable rate on auctions, and would love to maybe see feature updates that might make auctions more equitable and for the benefit of all.

    Hiring Events Manager and Hosts- Fun Mainland Experiences!

    Hi there! I'm a mainland experience creator hosting a number of publicly available experiences along mainland roadways and waterways. I offer more spaces to connect, share time, and meet new friends, and would like to start offering events at some of the locations around mainland for the benefit of all.

    I'm looking for an events manager and hosts for various locations to hold fun, engaging experiences that feature art, music, discussion topics, or silly shared times. Here's a little bit more about the roles: 



    Events Manager
    --

    Time commitment: ~ 10 hours per month, 2 hours per week
    Pay: $1,000L per week

    The events manager creates themed events for AscendBnB locations around mainland, with a focus on rotating spaces and event types per week. They co-create event ideas, then work on execution by spreading word about the event via social channels, scheduling hosts and talent, and being present during the event for help and support. 

     

    Host

    ---

    Time commitment: 2 events per week, ~ 1 hour per event 
    Pay: $500L per week 

    Hosts are the social center of events held at AscendBnB, and act as emcee, being on-call during events. Working with the events manager, talent, and the audience, the host ensures that everyone has a good time during events. 

     

    Each position is paid weekly on Fridays, and is suited for someone who has flexible availability, a willingness to be creative, experience running SL events/groups, experience with social media and sharing with SL audiences, and a strong sense of community.     Also, add in fun Linden-owned spaces that you find on mainland (don't forget to tell us which continent it's on, and the SLURL)!

    I can start- I own several stops along roadways and waterways, like South Coast Ferry and Fish, offering Northern Operations Fishing Tournaments every Sunday at 6am SLT!

    We absolutely do use that in 'American English'- it's a shortened version of luxury (relating to experiences and objects that represent finely-crafted/coveted/'elite class' lifestyles) that has been used within Black culture and travel culture for a few generations now. 💞 Happy to provide education there!

    Luxe traveler and creator here. I make fun experiences all around mainland with https://ascendbnb.live, and LOVE to travel. 

    I own a few 'private jets', am a Bonaire Marina sailor with a couple of boats there, and I take myself on trips often. I would love to ride out with a friend or two. My fav places to visit include ANYTHING Asha creates (Asha Destinations are incredible),  Lifestyle, Inc. destinations, Moorcroft, Ciampi,  and more.
